Sunday! Yes here we are on the tail end of our weekend once again. It is sad, but we have ways of curing that sadness. One of which might actually be seeing what questions I am answering this week from all of you. If you are still unsure some how or are new to the whole thing. Did you happen to see the footage for the Warcraft movie from Comic-Con? If so what did you think?

From what I saw it appeared to be scenes from the novel Rise of the Horde. Now there were some changes, which is completed to be expected but even in low quality I liked what I saw. I know some people are complaining about CG but what did you expect if you wanted the orcs to look like the orcs we know and love. Be sure when we see more things from the Alliance perspective you will get a better feel for the whole thing. It really has made me very curious what is in store for us come November and a Trailer.

Do you like how Blizzard is now getting people to buy into their Betas?

I assume you are referring to Legacy of the Void and previously Heroes of the Storm. Companies have been doing this for awhile. Now for Free to Play games it makes a lot of sense to do a Beta this way. It gives people who are willing to contribute to the game financially a bonus of getting to play first. It also gives them the opportunity to spend the money they were going to spend anyway. Blizzard though for LotV is just allowing people who pre-purchase a chance to play the beta and the prologue. Nothing serious. It is not like they are getting into the campaign and are going to spoil it for everyone. So to all the people freaking out about Blizzard trying to cash in unfairly to people forget it. They are just buying the game early and getting a chance to play. If they were buying beta access and not the game then that would be a different story.

Beta Is Beta

So here we are on yet another Monday, which means besides random complaining it is time for me to showcase something for you to start of your week. This week I bring you a Machinima created by Mooclucking called Beta is Beta. Basically if you have ever been in a Beta test of any game you will find this machinima rather enjoyable. It pokes fun at all the those things wihc never make it into a real game unless, of course, it is made by EA. If you have never had the opportuinity to play a game while it is in Beta just think about this video and wonder if you really still want to play a game which is in beta.

You Fail At Beta Testing If...

Here we are on yet another Fail Day. For those who don't know because they haven't been following my Facebook posts. I have been playing a lot of Hearthstone lately. You may also not know the game is still in the closed beta stage. It will be or supposed to be going into open beta this month but it is Blizzard and we will see. With that in mind I decided to day's fail will be all about Beta testing.

You Fail At Beta Testing If...

• You know nothing of what his beta testing is
• You get University flashbacks whenever you hear the word "beta"
• You have never beta tested
• You complain about not getting into beta no matter what game or if you were ever going to play it
• You feel you would be a better beta tester than anyone
• You don't understand what "give feedback" means
• You wonder why you cannot buy this beta game
• You have a beta for a game and yet you never play it
• You use this time to complain about a game
• Your feedback is about as useless as Bagellord on a boat
• You have anger issues when things do not work as they should
• Your system doesn't make the minimum requires for the game but yet you still applied for the beta

and finally

• You complain about a game riddle with bugs

New MoP Beta Mount

So I still don't have access to the Mists of Pandaria beta, but that's ok. I hear the content at the moment is pretty sparse and you get through it rather quickly. So Blizzard can make up for it by giving me access later so I have more to do. I have a feeling this request may actually get heard. Speaking of the beta though, a few days ago MMO champion showcased the new jewel crafting mounts which will be available. Before I comment on them take a look at them.

Now I know it is beta and models are not final, but really? I understand they are jewel crafting mounts and they want them to look as if they were carved out of jewels. At least that is what I would hope they were going for looking like this, but really? They look as if they are bringing Thundercats back from the dead in the worst way possible. I really can't stop looking at them and thinking "really?". Maybe it is just me though, but really? I honestly have no idea what to say. Maybe someone else has a better way to describe them so I am not at such a loss for words.

Mists Of Pandaria Beta Is Live

Yes you have heard correctly. Now it is live and nothing has changed that I don't have access to it, but then that was expected. There is a ridiculous amount of information coming out, and I cannot begin to cover it as well as others. So have a look at MMO Champion for an unreal amount of coverage. There are models, items, mounts, and anything else you can possibly think of. Take your time look through it all and maybe it will do what it did for me. That is stop thinking about the decision with Garrosh. One thing to note is that some if not most of the models are in their testing phase so expect many changes to come from now and until release
