Wednesday and after one day of Bloodborne there really is only one thing on my mind. Some games are just harder than others. Not that I mind it. I actually enjoy when something is challenging and isn't ridiculously easy. Instead of going over what I find to be the most difficult games I am going to do specific fights. You know those boss battles that you actually fist pump yourself when you are done with them. So here are my choices
5. Bhunivelze - Lightning Returns
The final boss of Lightning Returns not only challenges your ability to build a party correctly, but also your knowledge of the game and all its ins and outs. Really there are not many final bosses that make you use all the knowledge you should have gained through playing all in one fight. Not to mention if you happen to not have a couple things in your inventory this boss becomes almost impossible.
4. Alma - Ninja Gaiden
In a series where every boss challenges you in every way imaginable this puts you to the test. You will need speed patience and persision to defeat Alma, but when you finally do one of the most satisfying things you will do gaming wise.
3. Ornstein and Smough -Dark Souls
Either of these bosses on their own would have been brutal. Fighting them together then when one is dead assumes the powers of the others well that is pretty much borderline unfair. You will die countless times learning this encounter, but when you finally get it you may actually stand up and do a little dance.
2. Red Falcon - Contra
So you thought when you killed that alien head you would be done. That in itself could have made this list and no one would have said anything about it, but no you then get to fight the real deal in probably the smallest possible area with no room for error. This actually borders on the unfair and impossible line.
1. Mike Tyson - Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Now we all know the real Mike Tyson has some issues, but it was a whole different story when this game came out. The gaming rules of the day where that games needed to be brutally hard and this was no exception. I am still of the firm belief that you needed to know the pattern to beat him because the control you were using wasn't quick enough to respond to what you saw. The new Wii version doesn't give this justice for this very reason.
There you have it. Agree or disagree you know the deal just let me know. As I am sure there will be plenty of backlash on this one.

You Know What They Say About The Leading Man
Wednesday time to be smack dab in the middle of the week. I really cannot believe I actually typed that, but I am going to leave it there as proof that I actually did. So here I am sitting around making a list out of this I can actually make a list out of. I know that is rather weird isn't it. I have realized that so far I have made quite a few lists. I have also realized that people suggesting what I should make lists out of should go back and look that I have already made the list you are suggesting I make a list about. After all these list thoughts I decided that I would do the list at may favourite almost death moments because really these are the moments you remember as OMG THEY CAN'T DIE, and really they can't so here we go.
5. Jody and Ryan In the Cold - Beyond Two Souls
This scene is one of my favourites from the game. The game itself is filled with so many moments which make you` think and contemplate and then there is this one when you are both dying being wet and freezing to death. If you have played the game you know exactly what I am talking about. If you haven't you really should.
4. Ezio Goes Home- Assassin's Creed Revelations
This is the opening sequence to the game and you are left watching it thinking are you serious they are going to kill Ezio right at the start this sucks. Then of course he does Ezio things and gets himself out of it. But doesn't mean one of the most favourite characters ever was pretty damn close to death.
3. Balthier Just Being Awesome- Final Fantasy XII
Balthier is by far and away the most interesting character in the game. In a game where there really isn't a true main character he is the one who trys to assume the role of being it. This is the moment where he does what every main character does in any game. Sacrifices himself and you assume he dies when in the ending it is reveal he is just as awesome as he ever was.
2. You Know Nothing About Snow - Lightning Returns
Lightning Returns is filled with amazing cinematics which just make you appreciated what has been going on since the first game. This moment was not only sad, but bordered on tragic. Snow has been a fan favourite in the trilogy and they couldn't actually kill them could they? Of course when he wasn't dead couldn't miss the epic lines he through out afterwords.
1. Joel's Trip To University - The Last of Us
So here we are leaving the university in what seems almost like a waste. Then there is a bunch of hunters going crazy all over the place and you think you have finally made it out. When then someone comes out of no where knocks Joel off a ledge and then he is impale through the gut with a steel spike. I don't think anyone who has played the game at this moment didn't have their jaw drop. He does survive but not without an entire chapter of the game dedicated to his recovery.
And there are my favourites. What do you think? Have better choices? Just let me know as always.

Ask Gauss
Sunday. Yes that is right Sunday is already here. Where did the weekend go? Truthfully I am not entirely sure. I am sure though is that I have a pile of questions here and I only am going to pick 3 of them to answer for this week's Ask Gauss. Now if you are unsure how to become part of this pile it is very simple. You can use one of the ways on the top right of the page or you can just send an email to gaussafication@gmail.com. So let's get to it.
So I have been playing Lightning Returns and I am having a hell of a time on the final boss, any suggestions?
Well I must say the last boss, who I won't say just for spoiler sake, is actually the toughest last boss in Final Fantasy in a long time. Now the first few phases of the fight it is extremely important to do as much damage as you can without taking a lot. Also do not use any of your EP it is extremely important for the final phase. Now you really don't need to stagger the boss during this stage although it can be helpful just concentrate on doing the most damage possible while taking the least amount. I like to use a physical and 2 magic users just because it gives a nice break. In truth though the fight itself might be easier with 3 magic users and keeping your distance to react to attacks. The phases just may take longer to go through. I use "ra" spells specially Aero because it is a quick cast. Keep in mind though to have at least 1 of each element in case the boss switches to an elemental weakness and you want to take advantage of it. Lastly when you get to the final stage you just have to stagger. This is where your overclock and ethers if you have any come n handy. get to a purple stagger level then go nuts with the overclock. Once you have staggered the boss you win and congrats. Keep in mind weapons with Quick Stagger and Stagger Power are extremely useful. Hope this helps.
So truthfully how is the loot in Diablo now?
The loot drops are much better. I have been playing through my Hardcore Characters the last few days, and the drops and crafting has kept me at par. Also the drops currently are leaps and bounds better than you can get on the Auction House so stay away from it. With this in mind Demon Hunters need a little work or maybe I am not completely understanding the class. My Hardcore Demon Hunter Macro said goodbye to the world on Friday after many hard fought battles.
Will you be picking up the FFX/X-2 remaster?
Course been awhile but March 18th looking like a good day!
There you have it some questions answered for the week. Thanks to everyone who sent something in. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Ask Gauss
Here we are on the tail end of the weekend once again. The first weekend of March and around here spring just doesn't seem anywhere in sight. What is in sight though(yes I know awful lead in) is these questions I am going to answer for this week's Ask Gauss. As always if you are unsure how to send in those questions top right of the page has quite a few options or just email them to gaussafication@gmail.com.
Everything I have seen coming in Reaper of Souls has been worth it. The changes are all for the better. There really is nothing they are adding I don't like. Sure some of the class changes will change the way I played but I can live with that. They want the game to be equally played across all classes and that makes sense after all I do have currently a max level of every class. One thing to keep in mind though. Diablo is still an ARPG based upon farming for better gear. That is what the game is all about. If you didn't like that about it before that hasn't changed just the ways you go about getting it have slightly changed.
Do you have some favourite garbs in Lightning Returns?
I generally use 1 physically based attacking garb and 2 magic focused garbs. Now I have maxed out st and magic stats in those 2 situations so garb choice is more of a preference. Before that came to be though I used 2 of the +10% Magic garbs where there base attack was an Aero, Blizzard, Fire, Thunder + and then the other garb was a 10% Strength garb. Now if your base strength or magic stat isn't high enough that +10% is not greater than 250 then obviously use the 250 ones. I also like these garbs because they only have 1 wasted slot with the base ability.
Something interesting you heard about?
Hearthstone is going to be played at the Intel Extreme Masters. And no bullshit on that one.
There you have it questions answered for the week. Thank you to everyone who sent something in and a pre-thanks to everyone who will be sending in questions for next week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Here we go end of the weekend I could make many a things with all the tears shed on this day. Alas that is not what I am here to do though. It is Sunday which means it is time to go through some questions and answer them here. If you still are unsure of how to send in your questions all the options are at the top right of the page or if you are lazy just send them to gaussafication@gmail.com. So let's get to it.
I assume you have had a look at the new Tauren Model what do you think?
It is what I expected. Just like the others updated the number of polygons to fit in with the current level of the gaming world. It doesn't look like a model from way back when anymore. What I am really interested in is how this will lead into the new Baine Model. Every other Leader has their own and isn't a small change from the base model. So as it is good to see these updated models they are what is expected while the Baine I expect to be much different.
Without any spoilers was the ending to Lightning Returns a good one?
I would say yes. When games have had multiple releases and plot which has been quite involved you are worried when things end that they won't actually take care of things. I was happy with how things ended. Sure were a couple things that I was like "really" to but it wasn't that it was bad but just wouldn't have been my choice is all. I cannot say I was unhappy with the ending though which is the important thing. If you have played the other games and played through to the end here I don't see how you could be disappointed when it was over.
So TItanfall won't be on PS4 sucks to be you.
Because I was actually looking forward to playing CoD with robots...
There you have it questions answered for the week. Thanks to everyone who sent something in if I answered it on here or not. Enjoy what is left of your weekend!

I Just Don't Even Know
So I have always told myself not to get angry or upset with gaming reviews. It doesn't really serve a purpose and a lot of the time you can tell how some reviewers may have been guided on how their review should have actually gone. Now with that in mind I have not been this angry or upset with a review in quite some time. Now everyone can have an opinion. It is your right to have one. When you complain about things which make you look stupid to those who have played the game or know the series or just games in general you make yourself look bad first off but then you could actually sway people from actually getting a game.
I recently read a review on the Financial Post of all things on Lightning Returns. So I am going to rant a bit about the review and there may be some spoilers so keep that in mind, but I will try my best to not have any.
The review started off by complaining there wasn't enough of a "Catch up" for those who didn't play the previous games. Now there is like a 5 minute type "catch up" video wise plus the ENTIRE PRIMER you can read which gives you everything you could ever want to know. Of course the review never mentions anything about this. Now this makes me ask the question. For people who are playing a game and not taken part in the previous games besides being weird I would think you should be responsible for doing some of your own homework. Just like a movie you don't go and watch the Return of the King and have no idea who Frodo is.
Went on to talk about how the story talks to much about God and some people and how it is offensive. Seriously? Have we actually come to this in games. it doesn't talk about a known religion. It is a fantasy universe with made up religions but we are going to be offend by this because there is someone called God? Get over this political correctness crap it has ruined the way everything is interpreted.
Then the game doesn't give you enough direction about what you are suppose to do and the time constraints make you stressed and should be eliminated as it is "unfun". First of all wow you want your hand held. Have you ever played a Final Fantasy game before? Or any game which doesn't have arrows telling you exactly where you are supposed to go. Not everything has to be handed to you. You know games can have some kind of difficulty. Same goes for the timing it is a mechanic which makes you actually think about what you are doing and in all honestly once your EP is high enough time is not even a factor and you end up waiting around with nothing to do.
There is more but I think this is plenty to understand my thinking on why people like this are actually allowed to review games. It truly boggles my mind. Now I know Lightning Returns isn't the best game ever made but it is a good game and has been a lot of fun for me. Sure it is not everyone's cup of tea but you know what neither is any other game that has ever been made.

You Fail At Lightning Returns If...
Fail Day and I am pretty sure if you have been around here long enough you knew this Fail Day was coming. There may be minor spoilers but nothing major so you really shouldn't be worried about such things. So with the fine print out of the way let's get to it.
You Fail At Lightning Returns If...
- You are stressed out by the timing factor
- You don't believe the story should be confusing
- You like kid Hope
- You don't make your Lightning look stupid with adornments
- You don't check libra conditions when complaining a fight is to difficult
- You cannot perfect guard
- You don't laugh every time Lightning says "chow chow choco chow"
- You were not upset when you made catuars extinct
- You never say "You are not prepared" when Caius talks
- Gamer tears were not shed for Snow
- You tried to get the last one for an Anubis
- You didn't unlock the 13th day
- Yo didn't name your Chocobo
- You think this game is an insult to christians
Hope you enjoyed it and happy hunting Last Ones!

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Last day of the weekend and the day Canada plays its next Hockey game. Have you been following the Olympics thus far? Being Canadian it is pretty much the thing to do, especially hockey. Everyone stops to watch the game no matter what they are doing something truly Canadian I guess. Anyways, though before heading off and watching the game how about I answer some of the questions sent to me this week.
Hoe does Lightning Returns compare with the other FFXIII titles?
Honestly I think it may be the best of the 3. I haven't completed it yet probably will today but I just find the battle mechanics make this game great. The story while a little confusing at some points(although purposely) has been something I have actually enjoyed much more than I thought I would. Their is some voice acting which has made me shake my head but when everything is voiced in game I always find this ends up being the case. The most important thing I have been impressed with so far has been the difficulty. Now the game isn't brutally hard but it isn't easy and this is something which to me is often overlooked nowadays.
Did you see that Heroes of the Storm might to preparing to head to beta?
From what I saw. It looked like it was moving out of Blizzard Employee alp. So I think this leads me to believe there might be a Friends and family alpha before we see a beta but you never know. Also keep in mind there will probably be a friends and family beta before the closed beta. Now I am excited to play this game as I think it has a ton of potential but I realistically don't see a beta happening until after Reaper of Souls is released.
Coolest thing you have seen this week?
This was added to the WoW Fan Art section think it is pretty awesome.
There you go questions answered for the week. Enjoy what is left of your weekend!

Ok Mr. Estheim
So as always when I play a game which just came out this is not going to contain any spoilers just my thoughts on the game thus far and what I like about it. Mostly do to the fact I want to get back to playing it. So now since that is covered what do I think.
Now I am not going to deny I am a Final Fantasy fanboy I love the games and have since I was a kid. Sure I like some better than others and I am critical when I I don't like something. SO if you are just going to LOL Sqaure and omg remake FF7 already then I don't actually care what you have to say. So what I was expecting before I started playing was a story which gets you right into it right away. I didn't want it to progress slowly because after all it is supposed to be the end of the world. It doesn't you get right into it and you have the freedom to go to any of the main locations as long as you obey the time constraints. After all the main point of the game is the world is ending you have to do something to prevent it.
This is Square Enix game so you expect top not visuals and they do not disappoint the environments are every you would expect them to be and the character models are probably some of the best if not the best I have come across on the PS3. This of course we take for granted in the series but still worth pointing out.
The battle system is actually better than I expect it punishes you for making mistakes and get rewarded for doing things well. Also being able to move around on the battlefield is nice but it is slow enough that it doesn't seem to matter. I will point out though when dealing with multiple enemies the camera and the movement become much more important to surviving the battle.
The customization is nice and I haven't had the time to go all out with it, but I know when I have the time I will be doing so. I have just been wanting to get right back into the action, which really is the most important thing in my books.
So I like the game especially with what I have gone through thus far. If you enjoy the series or the character it has been a great addition thus far and if you don't want to play the other 2 games but this one looks interesting to you they do a great job at summarizing the story thus far for those needing a catch up. So really what it comes down to is check it out.

Every One Of Them was Unique
Here we are one day into playing Lightning Returns. Games been pretty good so far, but what about what has happened up until this game was released? That's what I first thought about when making the list for this week. So that is what it is going to be. My favourite moments from Final Fantasy XIII series before Lightning Returns was released. Here goes.
5. Fighting Cid
4. Snow Saves Hope
Everyone may have hated Hope when he was just this little obnoxious kid but you couldn't help but have a soft spot when Snow saved him. Also with the speech which followed when he was atoning for what happened to Hope's mother. Was a great moment and realyl set the tone for the rest of the game.
3. Caius Speech
2. Lightning Punches Snow
1. Don't Forget Me
Not only did this scene have dem feels. It was believable and really showed how this game has come together. Remember it all started being about 2 sisters and this is the way it should have came together. This really is the moment which not only leads directly into the next game but the reason the games exist in the first place.
There you have it this week's list. As always tell me what you think.
5. Fighting Cid
I just love this boss fight challenging and well thought out. Plus all the story involved in it made it that much more awesome to be apart of. Rarely in games is there this much involved in a boss fight during the middle portion of a game and I think that is often overlooked. Here is to hoping there is more of this not only in Final Fantasy games in the future but all games.
Of any moment in the series this is probably the speech of speeches. With all the sad moments and the epic battles this is one which everyone will remember. I often reply this part of the game just to hear this speech over and over. I know its weird but it points to how amazing the speech itself is.
2. Lightning Punches Snow
Not only was this completely unexpected but it was awesome. She completely owned the guy with a punch when he is the one who goes around punching everyone and everything. I don't know how many times I have watched the seen and never once did I not smile.
1. Don't Forget Me
Not only did this scene have dem feels. It was believable and really showed how this game has come together. Remember it all started being about 2 sisters and this is the way it should have came together. Retro-Spective Lightning Returns Trailer
Monday! Not to mention we are only a day away from the release of Lightning Returns. Call me a fanboy if you want but I am actually quite excited for this game and knowing how this story is going to finish. This is why for this week's Machinima Monday I decided to go with a trailer for the game done in a well... interesting fashion. One you will just have to watch to appreciate. So have a look at get as pumped as I am
Now wasn't that pretty sweet? Anyways, we are on the home stretch not much of a wait now.

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Nothing like a day with pancakes and watch the Olympics. Although no hockey yet put I think I will survive at least for now. Anyways all that has nothing to do with gaming but me answering some questions about gaming kind of does. So why don't we do that.
What cosmetic changes are you hoping they add to WoW?
Well before Warlords was announced I would have said new character models and player housing. Now we are getting new character models and garrison, which I am hoping is player housing. So what else? Well I would just like more character or mount customization. So being able to trangsmog things which currently aren't able to be transmoged would go a long way. Many people have earned Legendaries and would love to show them off. Not to mention all the holiday gear. Would also make people less streamlined and isn't that the point of transmog in the first place? Also I would love to some how get customizations to your mount. Maybe armor, flags, anything really something which makes you different then everyone else. I know it seems silly but cosmetically it is important.
Anything interesting this week?
World of Warcraft went up in subscriptions. Apparently I wasn't the only one who decided to come back. It seems others have made the same choice. I find this extremely interesting not only because it is the first time in over 2 years the number has gone up but it is at the tail end of an expansions a time which has always even during the highest of times saw a decline. Truly makes me think quite a large number of people are interested in Warlords of Draenor.
Isn't Lightning kind of like a ret pally?
That will be all the questions for the week. Thanks to everyone who sent one or many in as always would not be possible without your questions. Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

You Fail At Being Ready For Lightning Returns If...
So here we are 1 week from the release of Lightning Returns. Are you ready? Now of course there will probably be people who will say no because they won't play it because blah blah blah and blah blah blah. I get it you don't like Final Fantasy but guess what I do so honestly your opinion on this matter really doesn't matter to me. With this in mind let's find out if you truly are ready.
You Fail At Being Ready For Lightning Returns If...
- You don't understand why Lightning is in a Soldier uniform.
- You refuse to play a game with a female lead
- You don't think a gunblade is one of the greatest weapons in games ever
- You frequently ask the question "who is Serah?"
- You are not like every else wondering why Snow is "bad"
- You didn't make a list of all the characters you saw in the trailers
- You don't believe Caius is an epic Villain
- You don't use Ruinaga just to see the explosion
- You are not in awe of Army of One
- You weren't making 13 days to go jokes last week
- Giant pumpkins don't strike fear into you
- You preferred hope as a kid
and finally
- You didn't play part 1 or 2

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Fresh off some pancakes and ready to go. Always a reason to love Sunday and not think about tomorrow being Monday. Although you could be one of those people not having pancakes on a Sunday and for that I feel sorry for you. Enough of that though being Sunday it does mean it is time to answer some questions. There are still some of you unsure of how to send in your questions so apparently the mass of ways on the side is hard to find. So you can't find it or are too lazy to look gaussafication@gmail.com. Is the way to go. So let's get to this thing
So coming back to WoW what did you miss about it most?
That is actually a really easy answer. I know more about the lore and the story of the game then pretty much anyone. I am Wowpedia in my own right. There is one thing knowing it and explaining it to people but actually being there and experiencing it is something completely different. It is part of the reason I enjoy older content so much. Not only because of the memories and thinking about how this was before but knowing why such and such is there and why we are helping them to such and such a thing.
This is also why I love the scenarios so much. They are a great way to show of the depth of the story of the game without much time invested. It really lets those just playing the game have a taste of what is involved.
Have you had a chance to look at the Lightning Returns new battle system?
Yes I have. Reminds me a lot of the Chrono games and Crisis Core, which is a not a bad thing. Remember the evolution from XIII to XIII-2. You expect things like this obviously it is a new game. Not to mention you will be playing as Lightning the Entire time so there has to be some form of customization and change with it all.. I am excited though February 11th cannot come soon enough. For those who haven't seen the new battle system have a look at this video.
Has the craziness calmed down yet?
Never...
There you have it this week's questions answered. Thanks to everyone who sent one in. Wouldn't be possible to do this without them. Enjoy what is left of your weekend!

Ask Gauss
So less than a month before Lightning Returns are you ready?
I have been ready. I have been excited for this game for quite some time. I know a lot of people have some hate on for FFXIII because it has been more linear. Although I don't really understand how you can consider part 2 linear. I think people just need to realize each Final Fantasy game has a model and it follows it. XIII just happens to be this way. The story has been extremely well written and I would argue it is one of the better overall stories in the series. This may be unfair though since it is going to have 3 games to tell that story while in the past the most has been 2. I will be there day one picking this up though and will be sure to tell all of those interested all about it.
Is BoA on Diablo going to ruin player interaction?
This is the crap I don't understand people complain and complain how Diablo is a single player game and now it truly has a complete single players aspect and those same people complain. BoA is going to make your drops better and allow you much more individuality in the game along with making you play the actual game to get the items you want. I know crazy concept. I just think people are born to bitch and this is just what they are doing. Trading doesn't make Diablo killing demons endlessly and getting that legendary drop that means something is what makes Diablo.
Sylvanas got nerfed.
No worries it is still amazing for 6 cost.
There you have it questions answered for the week. Thanks to everyone who sent in a question if it was answered here or not. Keep sending them in I will always get to them eventually.

Ask Gauss
Happy Sunday everyone! Crazy week. When I said last week I was bombarded with questions this week topped that like crazy. Must be big news with me coming back to WoW and all. Although with some of the things people are asking does put some pressure on things. I am having fun which is the important thing. It is Sunday though so let's get to these questions!
So I know you have came back to WoW but I see all of these streamer popping up playing WoW what do you think the reason is.
I have noticed others playing WoW either starting back up or picking it up again. I am not really sure why it seems new year new things to do. Like I said I am having fun going through the quests and leveling. Timeless Isle while is an easy way to get gear seems gimmicky to me but I can live with that. I know a lot of people are extremely interested in the new expansion pack so maybe this is the way for people to get ready for it. Or maybe they just think it is a great way to interact with people since tons of people do play WoW. I can say for a fact people seem to be really engaged with me coming back. Just seems to be what people want to see at the moment.
How ready are you for Lightning Returns?
I wish it was out already. Seems like it has been forever since the last one. Maybe it is just the way it ended and I want to know what is coming next. I know some people don't appreciated 13 for what it is, but those who really enjoy the story get it. You have to realize 13 is in a category all its own and don't expect it to be something it isn't. I will be playing it day one like crazy along with the week's after so all of those waiting to hear what I think of it no worries you will get plenty of it.
So Carbot portraits in patch 2.1.
I know and new levels should give myself and others things to aim for.
There you have it this week's questions answered. Once again thanks for everyone who sent something in and for those still waiting for me to reply I will get to yours eventually.

End Of An Era?
So I recently watched this
For those of you who didn't watch it it is a reveal or tour of Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns. Now I can say the game looks great. Well polished and a story which seems will be a great ending to the Lightning Saga. I have no complaints at all about it. So you might ask yourself what is this post about?
Well when wat ching this video I thought to myself. Is this really the end of the classic turn based RPGs? This game to me is more of a ARPG is it not? Now I love ARPGs but Final Fantasy has always been its own thing. A game which is masterful for what it is and what it has been. Does this mean Final Fantasy is leaving the turn based style behind for the future? Who knows, but if so what would this mean? Maybe the most iconic series in gaming will be going through a major change. Am I ok with this? I think I am ok with it but I am not saying it wouldn't be weird. I will say it was funny them advertising a game where a character could jump. If it was any other game people would laugh and say WTF. In Final Fantasy this is a big deal. Like I said funny and a weird thing at the same time.
I for one am excited not only for this game but for what the future will bring to this series in the future. What do you all think is this massive change an end to an era of gaming that has spanned decades or is this just a game which is a change from the norm?

Only Thirteen Days To Go
Here we are in the middle of the week. Two new consoles have entered a new generation and PC gaming is flourishing more than it ever has. Has there ever been a better time to be a gamer? We may not have the best games in the world coming out right now but I think the quality of games across the board has significantly improved over years past. This is why when I was thinking about what to do this week's list on games I am excited for came to mind. So here are my top 5 games I am excited for.
5. Final Fantasy XV
Of all the games on the list this one is all likelihood is the longest away. I have been excited for this game ever since its first iteration of Final Fantasy Versus was announced way back. The game from what we saw back at E3 looks amazing as does every Final Fantasy and maybe it is some nostaliga which makes me excited for every Final Fantasy game but I cannot wait.
4. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
I thoroughly enjoy Diablo III and as you known I was never part of the crowd which hated on D3 just because it was the cool thing to do. I put more time into it they I care to actually admit. The features they are adding in the expansion look great along with the story progression. I have always been a fan of the angel of death archetype so it just adds to the excitement
3.Heroes of the Storm
MOBAs generally have not been my favourite type of game. Sure I have played DoTA, DoTA2, and LoL but I have just always found the style to be too slow paced and lacked the skill and management of an RTS. Maybe that is the point of them though to be more of a team game. Heroes of the Storm seems to be focusing on that team aspect which is really the thing which is peeking my interest. I cannot wait to test this out.
2. Lightning Returns
The ending to the Final Fantasy XIII sage. Lightning has been one of the most interesting and complex video game characters not only in Final Fantasy but in video games in general. Her character may not have the charisma of an Ezio or Drake, but she is just someone you enjoy playing as because she is just that bad-ass. So with that and it finally being "the end" what is there not to be excited about.
1. Uncharted
I honestly don't know if this is going to be a part 4 of the original story or something completely different but the same style. Who really knows? The only thing I know is there is going to be an Uncharted game and that is something worth getting excited about.

Lightning Returns Opening
Well this is something which doesn't need much introduction so I will just throw it at you
Well let me just say I wasn't let down. After the post yesterday I think it was kind of "fate" this was released. Some may have even thought that was why the post yesterday was made. Anyways, I love this gets right into the Snow vs Lightning thing we all have been waiting for. I really cannot wait to play this game and this sequence just made me realize how far February really is. Damn why SE why?
Hope you all enjoyed it just as much. Enjoy the rest of your day!
