I Would Never Again Grovel For A Place In This World

So Legion is here and what is the big deal everyone is talking about? Well that is all what this week's list is about. My top 5 things which have been added for Legion. Have a look.

5. PvP Online Abilities

In Legion if you were not aware you can unlock new talents with honor earned. This is something Blizzard has shied away from over the years making abilities PvP only but it does make it much easier to balance on the whole.

4. Artifacts

So instead of doing trying to please everyone by giving them the same legendary or allow classes to fell more important than others by offer specific class questlines and legendaries we have Artifacts. Weapons that are iconic and will be customizable so players will have the chance to feel somewhat original.

3. The Emerald Dream

Lore buffs have known about this place for years. For years we also expect and expansion based on it. I was always concerned that the content within the dream wouldn't be enough to support an entire expansion and in the end I guess I was right. Everyone will be able to step inside the dream through the raid instance The Emerald Nightmare. So get ready.

2. Class Orders

So remember all those suggestions and complaints about Garrisons? Well Blizzard seems to have taken them to heart with Class Orders. As it stands now everything most people liked about the Garrison will be within the Order and everything that seemed boring and tiresome will be gone.

1. The Lore

Now for those who know me this is to be expected. This is the Burning Legion we are talking about. There is so many iconic things we could be seeing and I just cannot wait to be a part of it. I'm ready are you?

There you have it, the best things coming in Legion as according to myself. Do you agree? As always let me know it one way or another.

You Fail At Being Ready For Legion If...

Fail Day, and not just any fail day. It is Legion Launch day. By the time you are reading this you are probably already leveling yourself up and just realizing that it is morning. These things happen don't they. So with that in mind there always is someone who isn't ready for something so let's get ready for it.

You Fail At Being Ready For Legion If...

  • You didn't take part in any of the pre-expansion events
  • You are wondeirng how everyone is playing a Demon Hunter
  • You didn't setup your UI before launch
  • You have no up to date addons
  • You have not read over any of the skill changes
  • You don't know what Order Halls are
  • You have no idea who the Legion are
  • You are wondering where Varian is
  • You are also wondering where Vol'jin went
  • You decided to main a Ret Pally this expansion
  • You can't wait to see the new Garrison
  • You are wondering where the Karazhan raid is

And Finally

  • You have no intention of playing it

There you have it this week's edition of fail. Hope you all enjoyed it and are all enjoying your time with the new expansion.

Ask Gauss

Sunday! Which means it is time for some questions to be answered while you wonder where your weekend went. So why don't we get right to it.

Legion is almost here. What do you think?

I know this normally is always said, but I think this is the most anticipated expansion and it has nothing to do with the content announced it has to do with the Pre-Patch content. This seems to have social media in an uproar and excited. Everywhere I look people are excited and getting ready to go. Now this could be because so many people have unsubscribed because of the end of WoD, and now are excited to get back at it. Whatever it is everyone is ready.

Will Legion improve WoW subs?

Well I think the subs will definitely increase when the expansion launches and will continue to increase towards the Karazhan patch. The main thing from there is how the following content will flow and how well it is received. Warlords had great opening content, but then it faded and people loss interest because of the repetition so as long as they learned their lesson they I think it will be in good shape. The lore itself may actually keep people coming and staying to this expansion just like Wrath did.

Do you think there will be a Fear The Walking Dead game?

As long as it is not as bad as the show.

There they are the questions for the week. Thank you to everyone who sent something in this week as it would not be possible without you doing so. Now you have permission to enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hearthstone Raging

Friday! So time for a Reader Post and see what is going on with someone. This week's post comes to you from Vinne who is having some real issues with Hearthstone and the way it is currently played. It is weird I always seem to get this type of submissions from Hearthstone and I always end up using them. So have a read and let it be known what you think.

Hopefully you people can help me and provide me any advice on how to bring the fun back to Hearthstone, so I won’t stop playing it, cause it is definitely my favorite game. I don’t want quit playing, but I am feeling forced too.  I will try to explain my anger as good as I possibly can. Maybe you experienced it either and found a solution to keep the fun in the game.

I have been playing Hearthstone for like fourteen months, on average two to three hours daily, and I've gotten so much enjoyment out of the game. For me it is really the best game I ever played. I never became bored or tired playing, cause there are so many personal goals to achieve: collecting all cards, build your own unique and strong decks, collect all golden heroes, reach twelve wins in arena and finally, reach the Legendary Rank. My ultimate goal always has been reaching Legendary rank (or at least rank 5) with a control and funny deck. However, month after month I can't pass rank 6.

I’m all fine with Rank 6, but not as it goes on the current meta. I am really, really, really tired facing Aggro Shaman after Aggro Shaman after Aggro Hunter after Aggro Hunter (and with less irritation Zoolock and Warrior Pirate). They always using the exact same fucking 30 cards as everyone else does. They keep hitting your face without any interaction. Today I went from Rank 6 and 4 stars to Rank 11. In all these lost ranks, I only faced ONE SINGLE control deck (and some fucking OTK warriors). And this is not the first time, for like 2-3 months I am quitting the game every day out of anger, thinking myself never going to play HS again. With some good hope and spirit I start the game again, arriving in the same shit again and again. At this point, I am really considering to give up all the goals I have (reach Rank 5+) And when I don't have goals, I just will quit HS forever. I once went from rank 15 to rank 6 in one day using Zoolock, noticing I easily can reach Legend with it, but I hate playing it, and I know other control players don’t like it as well. So going with the flow is not an option for me. Conceding one disgusting game after another against Shaman isn't an option as well.

If nothing will changed very soon (after the following OniK slots), or some Shaman and OTK nerfs will be announced very soon, I’m totally done with HS. Maybe you guys have experienced the same feelings and I am wondering how you dealt with these issues? I still see the potential and having so much enjoyment out of the game but at this moment I am forced to quit.

You might say, just quit and stop raging, but I am finding some ways to keep on having fun. Any advice?

My advice is simple. It is a game have fun. It is how I play. I know certain decks are better to go further and I have played months trying to rank up as fast as possible. I have found more enjoyment in making fun and gimmic decks and just plateauing. Just have to decide if ranking is that important to you.

Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

Horde Vs Alliance Will Always Be

First off I want to state this post will have spoilers associated with it in regards to the pre expansion cinematics that occur for Legion. Again there is spoilers so if you continue beyond this point and don't want them it is entirely your fault.

So in the pre expansion cinematics we see 2 big events. We see the Alliance witnessing the Horde archers lead by Sylvanas leave their posts while the Alliance are down below fighting the Legion. This is from the Alliance perspective and the ending result is what appears to be Varian Sacrificing himself the end result being Gul'dan blowing him up with Fel energy.

The second perspective is that of the Horde where we see Vol'jin stabbed along with Thrall and Baine being beaten back and in serious trouble with the Legion onslaught. Sylvanas calls for a retreat to protect them. The end result is Vol'jin dying to his wounds and Sylvanas becoming the Warchief of the Horde.

Ok so what is the problem then? Well we saw in the original Legion Cinematic that the Horde and the Alliance are on the same page fighting together to face a bigger threat. It ending with Varian saying instead of the typical "FOR THE ALLIANCE" with a "FOR AZEROTH". This is important because it focuses on the two factions being united for the first time in a long time. Now what many are complaining about is that these 2 pre Legion cinematics take everything away from that.

Why? Well the Alliance thinks the Horde left them for dead. They will be blamed for the death of their king. They do not know that Horde did so only to protect their leaders. Now it could be argued they should have stayed regardless, but really was there a point in letting everyone die? To me if you are outnumbered then you have to make the bad call. Problem is this appears to be something it is not. The Horde may be in other circumstances be able to explain, but with the likes of Jaina and Genn in charge this is not going to be possible.

So why do this whole united thing? Well really I believe there needs to be tension between the Horde and the Alliance to make Warcraft, Warcraft. It is the central focus to the universe and no matter what it will always be there. There can be people on both sides of the conflict who connect and trust one another, but it must always be there. So they did this in a way that the factions are united, but each side will really blame the other for each leader dying. So really it just comes down to us the players living with the fact what must be in place in the world.

Let Them Come

So just under a week from now we will be getting ready to step into World of Warcraft's newest expansion Legion. Before it we have had 5 other expansion to the game so why not for a list rank my thoughts on the expansions of the game thus far

5. Warlords of Draenor

I think for the most part this is where everyone will have this expansion. It is not that it was bad it was the fact that the expansion as a whole lacked depth. Also the Garrison while seemed like a great idea at the time really didn't turn out what everyone wanted it to be. Now as for positives the initial questing leveling experience was probably the best they have ever done.

4. The Burning Crusade

Now this ranking might surprise people. Now if WoD was the best leveling up experience Burning Crusade was definitely the worst. Everything was so far from everything else and Blizzard had not yet realized that splitting up the factions would be a good thing. We also had heroics entry based upon reputation which really was a poor way of gating them to the ilvl system that is in place today. Raiding was great if you were in a good guild if you weren't then you were then useless and ran Karazhan exclusively.

3. Cataclysm

An expansion that gets a lot of flack because of the 1-60 revamp that was a major part of the expansion that not a lot of people ever did. The lore of the expansion built on the good that Wrath had started. At launch the heroics were too difficult to what Wrath players were used to, but that was later fixed. Raiding started on the same curve and because of it we saw the LFR added to the game, along with major pillars of Void Storage and Transmog something we wouldn't be able to do without.

2. Mists of Pandaria

With Mists we saw the lore take a new shape in the game and how we were apart of it. Phasing became a much bigger aspect to the game then it ever was and the game was made for all types of players. Something that was needed for a long time rather than trying to make everyone happy at once.

1. Wrath of the Lich King

The expansion which brought many of the features that have made the game as popular as it was. It was also the expansion that made things easier for the everyday player while still giving a challenge to the more experienced player something that was asked for since the extreme difficulty of BC. It really isn't a doubt that this besides being the best received expansion was the most popular time of the game itself.

There you have it my ranking of WoW expansions. What is your ranking? As always let me know what you think in one way or another.

You Fail At Hearthstone Adventures If...

Fail Day! Yes it is that time of the week again where we make sure everyone else knows why they are awful. This week it is going to be all about Hearthstone adventures. Well let's just get to it.

You Fail At Hearthstone Adventures If...

  • You didn't know Hearthstone's newest adventure One Night in Karazhan just launched
  • You were not aware you play cards against the bosses
  • You think 700g is too hard to get
  • You think adventures are just cash grabs and offer nothing else
  • You complain you need a deck full of legendaries to beat the bosses
  • You don't enjoy the comic relief from emoting the bosses
  • You believe you should just be able to use the deck you always do
  • You hate making gimmic decks
  • You always lose and then bitch and complain on the forums
  • You think all wings should be able to be unlocked without gold or money
  • You have never completed a heroic boss because there is no point

And Finally

  • You have never completed one

There you have it this week's edition of fail. Hope you all enjoyed it and even maybe learned something.

Hearthstone In WoW

Monday. Yes your weekend is over and now you are left to do things which may or may not be important. Or better yet left to contemplate how little sense Hearthstone makes sense in practice. So while you are doing that here is Slightly Impressive's take on the whole thing. So enjoy!

Exactly what you were thinking right?

Ask Gauss

So I took a little impromptu vacation. I know I didn't let all of you know so for all that panicked and thought the world as they knew it was coming to an end I apologize. For those that thought I was just taking a vacation without telling all of you, well have yourself a cookie. Now it is time for us to do the Sunday thing, which means questions. So let's get to it.

So back to Karazhan, what do you think?

Honestly, I love the idea. I think though a lot of people are going to be disappointed when they are actually doing it. Not because it is going to be bad, but because it isn't going to be what Karazhan was. Why do I think that? Well besides the trailer giving the hint that it is going to be very Legion focused it is the fact that they are keeping the old Karazhan up and running just like it is. Meaning they don't want to take that marvel out of the game.

Alarak is coming to Heroes of the Storm!

Yes I know! The all Protross team is so close to becoming a thing. It is interesting though all the heroes they keep adding before Fenix though. Especially because they said Fenix has already been completed. They are probably reworking his style and kit, but having a Protoss unit without him being apart of it seems odd. Let us hope it is only a matter of time.

Are you dead?

Yes I have been replaced by an autonomous robotic organism from the planet Cybertron.

There they are this week's questions. Hope you all got something out of it in one way or another. Thanks to all those concerned as well to my whereabouts good to know people are thinking about you. Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

You Fail At Legion Pre Patch If...

Fail Day! Yes here we are again doing what we do best on Tuesdays. That being making sure when others know they are failing. So what is the topic this week you ask? Well the Legion Pre Patch stuff has been going on for a bit now so I thought it was time to check in with everyone with it. So here we go.

You Fail At The Legion Pre Patch If...

  • You haven't taken part in any invasions
  • You are not collecting Nethershards
  • You have no pieces of the Fel armor
  • You have not gotten yourself a Felbat pup
  • You have not picked up any Fel weapons
  • You have not activated additional dialogue from any of the demons
  • You have not yet turned yourself into a dreadlord
  • You haven't gone to Ulduar, Karazhan, or Dalaran
  • You haven't used any of the secret vendors
  • You have haven't started the Broken Shore questline
  • You haven't completed either scenario
  • You have not seen the "deaths" that occur during the questlines ending cinematics

And Finally

  • You haven't taken part

There you have it this week's edition of fail. Hope you all enjoyed it in some way or another and good luck with completely everything before launch.

Forging Doomhammer

Monday, yes time to get over it. With Legion getting closer and closer we find ourselves running out of things to pass the time. Well you may or may not be aware of the newest episode of Azeroth Armory this time featuring the Doomhammer. Now as most of you know I am a fan of Blacksmithing and the work that goes into it. So if it is not your thing then so be it to the others sit back and enjoy the show.

Can I get one?

Sunday, August 14, 2016

Ask Gauss

Sunday! Yes it is time to answer some questions while you are wondering where the hell your weekend went. Why? Because I know you the way your mind works. So without discussing more of my super powers let's get to the questions.

So is No Man's Sky a disappointment?

I wouldn't say a disappointment, but I will say people were expecting more. Now that is weird because the game seems to provide everything they were saying, but it is in a way that seems repetitive and redundant. I really think the whole Ghost and Goblins ending really shows that this game is artificially bigger than it actually is. No if they update the game with new things I believe over time it will be looked back on something amazing, but only time will tell.

So Karazhan thoughts?

I really enjoyed the prologue and the first wing especially the chess match was something I was hoping for and they did it, and did it in a way that was even better than I was expecting. I really think Blizzard is running with the adventures each time they are getting better and better with them and separating themselves from just make a card specific to the boss and making each boss something to remember. If you don't believe me go back and play a Naxx wing and come back here.

So Demon Hunters.

Yes they are out.

There you have it this week's questions all answered. Hopefully you got something out of them in one way or another. As always thank you to everyone who sent something in this would not be possible without all of your efforts.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The Confusing Story

It is Friday and it is time for the Reader Post of the week. With that in mind what is the topic for this week? Well No Man's Sky has been out for almost a week and people are already wondering what is going on with the story. I am not sure it is worth the time, but Shamfuru has something to say about it so that works for me for this week's Reader Post.

Apparently it was written by the same guy that did the original deus ex. I see the similarities, and that isn't a compliment.

What is contained below is my take on the gist of the story. It's not everything nor is it in-depth. I do not discuss the imagery in any detail nor the references to philosophy.

This is the story:

You wake up with no memories except you are a traveler in a place you feel you don't belong. You feel a pull of an ancient life force called "the atlas."

You take to the stars and go through hours of your character bloviating like a fifteen year old edgelord. You constantly ponder the meaning of your actions like you were scrawling it on the inside of a composition notebook covered in stickers. Pseudo-buddhist claptrap is vomited out at you from freemason imagery straight out of 2001 a space oddessey.

You then wonder if it is all a simulation, if you have free will or if you are a puppet of an unseen force. You collect stones that the atlas has left for you. These stones contain the information to build a new star.

You then come to make a new star. It is what the atlas has been asking you to do this whole time. Your role in the eternal dance is to be the one to gather the stones and then use them. You have a vision saying that the new star will bring forth a new galaxy and in there will be a new traveler born in this new place. You wonder if you will did your answers there and if you will meet this new traveler.

You get to the center of the galaxy and your new star explodes into an entirely new dimension. You wake up with no memories except you are a traveler in a place you feel you don't belong.

There you have it something to think about for your weekend.

Oh The Spoilers

So as you can tell from the graphic today it is all about spoilers. Now I completely understand people don't want things spoiled for them. I am the exact same way. For me though I make it a point to avoid any and all situations where a spoiler can occur. While others tend to think it is the responsibility of everyone else to ensure that they are not spoiled.

Does this not make any sense to anyone else? For me I tend to avoid spoilers for games the first week before I talk about anything. People come and read my blog not knowing what I post about each and everyday and to me that seems fair. To all those complaining now about the new World of Warcraft cinematics released Tuesday are posting on forums and pages dedicated to WoW about people posting spoilers on those particular forums. Like really? If you don't want to know anything about it then don't look. It is completely your fault that you are looking don't bitch and complain to others wanting to talk about these things in specific locations meant to talk about these things.

I know people are entitled and think the world revolves around them and not the sun, but seriously give me a break. Truthfully I would like to know what goes through these peoples minds so if you are one of these people please let me know before I suggest you bash your head against a wall to actually gain some sense.

We Slay Dragons

Wednesday! So unless you live in a bubble you probably know No Man's Sky was released yesterday. You may also know it is one of the most hyped games of the year. Now at this time we don't know if this hype is all for nothing. In time we will know the answer to that. Now you are thinking what does this have to do with this week's list? Well how about the most over hyped games then ended up being pretty bad.

5. Duke Nukem Forever

The game was in development for over 15 years. Really the only reason this isn't higher on the list was a lot of gamers thought that would be a dead giveaway to the game failing. The thing is though many hoped nostalgia would draw people in. People bought it and pretty much everyone hated it.

4. Watch Dogs

So it was this large immersive world that we were excited about for years after its first E3 appearance. It promised so many things, while it did deliver these things you felt cheated because they were nowhere near as good as you hoped them to be. It really does boggle my mind that they are releasing a second game.

3. Destiny

So this was supposed to be a game that had the little things from every genre of game that people liked and put it into something every fans of those genres would enjoy. Problem? That was exactly what it is. It was only little things from every genre and the game feels forced. offers little to nothing original and well it is just awful.

2. Spore

Game that had goals to be something epic. Everything you heard about got you beyond excited to play. The similarities between the hype of this and No Man's Sky scares me. Instead of space this was based in single cell organisms. Really it just ended up being a collection of mini games that left it as a very lackluster experience

1. Lair

Anytime you mention hype this game pops up. I am not sure any game has ever been hyped more. The problem was it was a launch title and because PS2 was around so longer the difference in specs between console generations was huge. This game promised to use everything the PS3 had to offer the problem wasn't the story was bad or the game sucked it was that the controls were so aggravating that no one wanted to play the game because of massive amounts of frustration. There eventually was a patch to fix the control issues, but the damage was already done.

There you have it my list for the most overhyped games that just ended up not living up to any of it. Issues with my list? As always let me know in one way or another.

You Fail At Being Ready For No Man's Sky If...

Fail Day! Yes it is that time of the week once again. Time when I bring out the French guy landing a vault in all of us. So what is the topic this week? Well No Man's Sky is out so it seems like a good idea to see what all of you actually know about it. So here goes

You Fail At Being Ready For No Man's Sky If...

  • You were not aware it was available today
  • You plan on exploring everything
  • You have no interest in exploring space
  • You are happy to show off to all those people who didn't have the game early
  • You haven't thought of a variety of names for the unknown species and places you will find
  • You watched all those exploit videos and are ready to use them
  • You weren't aware of the day one patch
  • Now you understand why the exploit comment was funny
  • You are not curious of why it is called No Man's Sky
  • You believe the game will be easily "beaten"
  • You love when big companies make games like this

And Finally

  • You Have absolutely no idea what I am talking about

There you have it this week's edition of Fail. Hope you all enjoyed it and got something out of it before you go exploring the outer reaches of space today. Go Luck!

Cooking With Gul'Dan

Monday! Yes, you wasted your weekend doing nothing but watching the Olympics. Now you can get yourself ready for a week of No Man's Sky but before you do that why not enjoy some cooking with Gul'Dan brought to you by Duch MMO.

Hungry?

Sunday, August 7, 2016

Ask Gauss

Sunday! Yes your weekend is ending. If you are like most of the world you are probably watching some of the Olympics. It really is something that people just do isn't it. You become the expert on sports you pay attention to only every four years. When you think about it is like saying you know everything about a game after playing it for 5 minutes. Since you are here though you are probably having an Olympic break and want to see what questions I am answering today.

Why don't the big sports game companies make an Olympic game?

I assume it is because many events acquire a lot more to put into the game. They would want to be inclusive without insulting or omitting everything. This would lead to a massive game, and really a project that no one really wants to take on. Also there might be a concern with licensing and such which is always the case when you deal with the IOC and many different countries. So maybe one day, but not any time soon I don't think.

New Diablo season are you playing?

Yes I am. Going with a Barb this season as I have been changing it up every time. I normally pick based upon the set and one I think will be the most fun to play. I love spinning to win so wasn't really even much of a contest when I looked at the sets. I am interested in how the changes work for the journey, but only time will tell with that. Will be sure to let those interested know.

Is WoW even WoW anymore?

Is that even a question?

There you have it all this week's questions. Hopefully you got something out of it. Thank you to all of those who sent something in this week, this would not be possible without your contribution. As always if I haven't got to your question yet don't worry I will soon. Enjoy the Olympics and the rest of your weekend.

The Current Lore Of Blood Elves

Friday, yes your weekend is approaching and you have yet to decide what you are going to do. Before you start to stress out about that why not check out this week's Reader Post. What is it about you ask? Well I am always having Lore discussions with Warcraft fans and one topic lately that has been talk about is the Bloodelves and Dalaran in Legion especially with everything that has happened in the past concerning them. The Blizzard thoughts on the matter to make it work in game are that the Legion threat is much bigger and the sides with put grudges aside to deal with the current problem. Here is what Loadbearer has to say about it.

That's what everyone says in order to explain away the whole "Horde are in Dalaran again after the Kirin Tor showed exactly how it felt about any Horde-affiliates like not even a year ago" thing, but the thing is, Blizzard never shows that in-game. They just show the Blood Elves being simpering pitiful asshats crawling back to the Kirin Tor when the Kirin Tor are so egocentric that they believe

  1. All the Sunreavers are to blame for the Purge
  2. Don't find a blood elf willingly committing treason by handing over a priceless royal family heirloom historical national treasure of Quel'thalas to be enough proof of his obviously greater loyalty to Dalaran and the humans over his own people and homeland
  3. Ask how they can be sure he won't betray them again
  4. And then Aethas sits there nodding and agreeing when the no-name dickmonkey from the Dark Riders comic says "if he weren't trustworthy, he'd have given the sword to one of his own Sunreavers."

So recovering something that belongs to your people and returning it to your people is untrustworthy. Okay. Then frost and arcane mages who find Alodi's and Aegwynn's staves should hand them over to the Burning Legion then, right? By the Kirin Tor's own logic, finding something that belongs to your kingdom and happily committing treason against your entire nation to be a second-class citizen with their worst enemy is A-OK!

I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't for the part in Aethas' journal in the Felo'melorn quest chain that proves it's not just him, where it says that ALL of the Sunreavers believe as he and the Council of Six do, that it was all their own fault, and they're the ones who have to make reparations, and they're also tripping over each other to rejoin the Kirin Tor and be the humans' dogs fetching their slippers and newspaper and peeing outside.

The implications here are that the Blood Elves are inferior to the humans in every single way imaginable if they're willing to overlook the Kirin Tor proving THREE TIMES that they DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE BLOOD ELVES.

  1. Doing nothing while Garithos slated for execution their most powerful and noble heroic 15% who were there for the sole purpose of HELPING THE HUMANS. And Modera and Ansirem are both still on the Council.
  2. Doing nothing again while Jaina took Aethas' rightful statement that Dalaran was the Blood Elves' home too and that Jaina had no right to force them to leave, especially not without a meeting of the Council of Six to decide. This resulted in the murders, assault, and wrongful imprisonment of innocent civilians, as well as innocent combatants just defending themselves when the Silver Covenant expect them to take their word for it that the racist crazy Horde-hating Council of Six member said they could arrest the Sunreavers. That would be like the KKK walking up to a black person and saying "Hey, the president said we could arrest you, just trust us." and expecting the black person to just go along with it. Yeah. Not gonna happen.
  3. Then they willingly went along with Jaina's spiteful pursuit of the Blood Elves on the Isle of Thunder, claiming the Blood Elves were only there to kill the Thunder King for his loot, not to save Pandaria, and this was apparently evil of them and they had to be stopped. Then Jaina proved it by...claiming his loot...when the Pandaren said it was too dangerous and had to be destroyed. And Jaina didn't spout off a lot of idealistic nonsense about killing Lei Shen to save Pandaria either. Most of her words were to the effect of "the best part is that the Blood Elves don't get any of this stuff." And Modera herself was sadistically pleased at the thought of the Saurok killing Horde.
  4. Now in Legion, Modera is suddenly an advocate for the Blood Elves' return to Dalaran. Okay. And the Council has made it clear that they see the Blood Elves as the ones at fault for the Purge. I guess for...having someone in their ranks who wasn't completely loyal who acted without the knowledge of anyone else until it was too late for Aethas to do anything about it, with his entire race threatened with death?

And yet the Blood Elves still want to be in Dalaran.

At least in WotLK, they were there because the Kirin Tor needed them. In Legion, the Blood Elves have absolutely no incentive to be in Dalaran now, yet they're presented as though the Kirin Tor give off some powerful pheromone the Blood Elves are addicted to more than they ever were to magic, and if they go too long without the Kirin Tor's help on anything, they'll die.

Blizzard just can't seem to make anyone look good at anything, unless they take the foremost expert on that area, and make them completely dependent on the humans for it. In this case, magic. The thing that saturates every aspect of the Blood Elves' lives, that they study for hundreds or thousands of years. And they're always dependent on the almighty all-knowing 30-year old human magi of Dalaran.

So yeah. Not happy with Blizzard's treatment of Blood Elves lately.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Is it believable? Or is it a way for things to make sense in game? Something to think about this weekend.

One Night Of Raging

So if you haven't been living under a rock you know that the newest Hearthstone Adventure has been announced that being One Night In Karazhan. Now me like any normal person in the world would see something new that they could play as a good thing. New cards, new bosses, and much more. Right now I know you are nodding your head in agreement because you are, you know, normal.

So then what is on my mind? Well if you know Hearthstone then you know when something new is coming out they showcase the cards to get everyone excited to play and get their hands on the cards. Well in doing so it opens the door to anyone and everyone who rages and complains. It could be that why are they asking for more money, why do the new cards suck, why are the new cards so overpowered, or why do I have to wait so long to play each wing. So the normal entitled bullshit that people always say.

These people now are also going on how they are "ruining" Karazhan with this "party" gimmick. I don't know if you have noticed, but all the adventures have been very tongue and check because you know Hearthstone if you haven't noticed isn't a serious game at all. So why all of the sudden do you think it should be? So just sit back and wait to play and get your new cards because no matter how much you complain about it we all know you are still going to play one way or another so do everyone a favour and shut your mouth so the rest of us can enjoy what is coming.

No Techniques Are Off-Limits To Me, But You Hold Yourself Back

Wednesday and time for another list. What will this week's list be about though? Well I thought I would go with the best secret bosses in games. Going not only on notoriety, but in difficulty in defeating, and difficulty n unlocking. So here we go.

5. Cow King - Diablo II

So one of the best grinding spots in the game that you just have to be careful about not actually killing the king himself. Now the level itself has become the thing of legend.

4. The Lingering Will - Kingdom Heats 2.5 Remix

Only available in the remix version of the game, but that doesn't mean this boss doesn't pack a challenge. By far and away the most challenging boss in the series and one that doesn't allow for a bunch of satisfactions upon defeating

3. The Darklurker - Dark Souls II

The Souls series is known for its intense difficulty and the secret bosses don't disappoint in this category. This boss though also has the difficult task of summoning it. Lighting all the candles in the dungeon sounds simple enough, but then so does opening a chest and we know how that goes in Dark Souls.

2. Penance - Final Fantasy X

One if not the most difficult bosses in the Final Fantasy Series and that is not even including what it takes to be able to fight him. That being the defeat of all of the Dark Aeons the game has to offer. After doing so sit back and enjoy the 1 hour plus of the insane combat required to defeat it.

1. Akuma - Super Street Fighter II Turbo

So Akuma now is a main stay in the series, but this wasn't always the case. Unlocking this battle is probably the toughest around. Requires you to never continue and also defeating enemies 4 times being perfect. Doing so when getting to Bison Akuma defeats him with one hit and the battle is on.

There you have it in my mind the best secret bosses in gaming. What do you think? Did I miss any? As always let me know in one way or another.

You Fail At Knowing I am On Vacation If...

Well I'm back, and what a day to come back on everyone's favourite Fail Day. So coming from some of the emails I have been getting. I can conclude most people don't actually fully read all my posts. So here we go

You Fail At Knowing I am On Vacation If...

  • You are still upset last week's fail day post didn't happen
  • You sent me a total of 6 emails in 7 days. Yes 6
  • Three of those emails where wondering if I got your other emails
  • Another one of the emails was asking why I was ignoring you
  • The last one was appologizing for the other emails that were sent
  • You have already asked me my opinion on the new Hearthstone adventure
  • You are wondering why I haven't logged on anywhere in the past week
  • You wished me happy birthday, but still persisted to wonder where I was
  • You can't get passed the fact someone can not log on to anything
  • You have been spreading rumors of my death
  • You think this post is me being replaced by an AI

And Finally

  • You didn't even notice I was gone.
