Monday morning and don't be so depressed it is the first Monday of the summer at least for those of us in the North. Now if that doesn't work I am still going to be doing my Monday service of Monday Machinima Monday. The day where I take of machinima, animations or in this week's case a music video from the gaming world and showcase it for all of you to see. This week I decided to go with a music video that was featured on the Late Show with Jimmy Falon. He was having his video game week and paid homage to one of his favourite video games, World of Warcraft. Did so with a parody of the song "We are the World" with "We are the World of Warcraft". And here it is
See your day started out ok afterall.

Gauss' Favourite Machinima
Now when I did my song choices everyone right away got on me over the choices I made. Then of course asked when I was going to make a list for Machinima, so I can be attacked for my choices again? Well today is the day for that. This though doesn't include a list of comedies because there is so many of them and to make a list about things which I find funny doesn't really serve the purpose. Although I am pretty sure people are going to ask for it, but until I decide to do it you all can settle with this list. So without waiting any longer here are my top 5 dramatic machinima movies.
5) Edge of Remorse This is extremely well done. The story is put out there perfectly. I know people will complain there is no dialogue and yes it may have been better with it, but live with it. The camera work is great as it blends with the story. Speaking of the story, it is extremely well thought out and showcased beautifully. Also the ending was perfect. So many times you have a great story with a crappy ending, but this was not one of them.
4) Blind. In my opinion there is no better machinima around, which has better camera work. I am even willing to over look the fact that the star of this is a Blood Elf. Again as with Edge of Remorse dialogue might have been better, but the music with this one makes it seem like it is like one of those escape scenes from a movie. Face it everyone is a fan of a good ass kicking. Enjoy it.
3)Ulduar Defiance. This is all about Ulduar, which the title kind of gives it away, but it also has its own personal story to it. It uses the music perfectly and transitions are seamless. Now I know this story isn't completely original, and people will probably argue that it shouldn't be ranked above others with completely original stories, but I would ask you hold your opinion until you watch it. It is about 30minutes in length so I will just include the trailer.
2)Tales of the Past III. This is probably the most epic production of a machinima ever made. The battle and fight scenes are remarkable. It doesn't have the camera work of Blind, but it has a great story. With appearences by Thrall, Rexxaar, Saurfang, Jaina, and Arthas you get the feeling you are watching something epic. Mostly because you are. I know I will get a lot of flact for this not being #1 and I expect it. I will include the final fight scene. The actual movie is over 90minutes.
1)Divided Soul. By far in my opinion the greatest machinima in existence. The story here trumps anything even Hollywood could come up with. This was his first machinima after Tales of the Past III and he proved it wasn't a fluke with that series. The combat is equal to that of Blind, the story is better than Edge of Remorse, and the voice acting is absolutely perfect. You may not completely understand it the first time you watch it, but it will make you think. I also know you will watch it again and again.
Let the arguments begin!

My Fav Music Videos
So today before the For The Horde raid I was on vent with a couple of guildies and some how we got talking about WoW videos. There are a lot of them out there and I try to watch any that people point me towards. To me there was basically two types of them Music Videos or full blown out shows/Movies etc. So I thought I would point you all to some of the Music variety by making a top 10 list. This I am basing on how good I liked the song combined with how good I thought the video was.
10) Ni Hao(A Gold Farmers Story) Nyhm ft. Summergale: Nyhm I am pretty sure everyone knows and Summergale appears in many of his videos. This is a parody and not a original song, but either way it was well put together and the video isn't that bad either. So I don't think I would get any complaints about this making the list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dkkf5NEIo0
9) That's The World of Warcraft That You Play: This is an old one, but it still is one of the funniest and best WoW songs there is. So for all you newer players who don't understand why a lot of this is funny it just reminds me I have played this game too long. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4TyqYsC26g&feature=related
8)Slaughter Your World, Looking for Group: Richard is just awesome. If you don't know anything about LFG I suggest you read the comic it is an extremely funny and good read. The only reason this isn't higher is because it is just simple animation, but every time I hear this I do laugh my ass off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcbazH6aE2g&mode=related&search=
7)Epic Raids by Oxhorn: Oxhorn is maybe the most recognizable machinamator there is in regards to WoW. He probably deserves a lot of credit for getting this genre to where it is today. Enjoy this one is a great one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3DHdIMMa9g
6) Take My Quest by Sharm: Now most people probably have never heard of Sharm. In my opinion she has one of the best voices of all the people who do this. So she deserves a lot of credit for her ability and it helps that this video she did not make and had the help of ViKarious Productions. It all comes together nicely. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ai9-C_TisPk
5)Horde For Life by Decision, Nayders and Gigi: Maybe this one is a little lower than it should be because it's about Horde, but who cares! I always like the videos when people get together always seems that I expect more out of it. Here I wasn't disappointed either. Zharkan16 put this one together and he did everything justice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aOs1zfqke4
4)Honor Killz by A6: Now as I said above that when people get together normally gets something pretty awesome. This video has probably one of the best machinamator's there is redeyelobine. I know no one will be disappointed with that in regards to this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6GP6LusdVU
3)Don't Make Me Get My Main by Cranius: This won the best movie at Blizzcon and rightfully so. I think the ending is what makes this movie as epic as it is. Of course the whole story behind it makes it great as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR7FC-h0Fb8&feature=channel_page
2) ROFLMAO by Oxhorn: I know a lot of you are saying this video and song are just absolutely stupid. This is where you are wrong. This video is probably one of the greatest videos the internet has. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEWgs6YQR9A
1)Big Blue Dress by Cranius: I am pretty sure this has a hold on the greatest song ever written about WoW. Now in regards to video quality I know this may not be as good as the others, but this song has had probably 100s of videos made because of the song itself. So to me this warrants my choice of it being the best. The gnome background singers are a nice touch also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z29Rk8814w&feature=channel
Well those are my choices. Tell me what you think and even if you think I missed one. Who knows I may not have seen it. Feedback is always welcome even if I complain about my emails and in game mail being jammed. It is good to know people like to hear what I have to say.
