Fun Being Interviewed

So yesterday I had the chance to be interviewed by a new Blogger and a youtube video maker. He refers to himself as Pencils1999. I have done interviews before as many of you know, but this one was much different since all the others have been by established bloggers or sites and just thought of me as a an interesting person to talk to because as of all of you know when I get going I well keep going.

So why was this different? Well Pencils is just starting out and I was his first interview and being the one he chose to start out with is quite an honor to me. So yes the interview may be things I have already told all of you because well I do tend to talk about all these things a lot. It just may be in a different perspective than you are used to. Also might give you a chance to check out his blog or channel and hey you may find something you like.

Thanks again Pencils hope this is the first of many and I wish you all the best in all that you decide to do.

You can check out the interview here.

And since I probably owe you all something funny and well the Daily Blink has this epicness

Yes I really know how epic this really is

Time To Feel Better

So just thought today we would just go for a good laugh. So I decided to go on the same tangent we were on yesterday with the fake document and take a look at what the Daily Blink had to say about it.

So why is this comic epic? Well because it basically makes fun of every single thing that people poke fun at WoW for not to mention it makes fun of the entire way that the Memo itself was put together. Absolutely brillant in everyway possible. Hopefully this gave you a great laugh to start your day out.

Encounter Journal

So I read this a few days ago on the Daily Blink and it made me laugh. I saw it again today and it was still just as funny. So the only logical thing I thought to do was share it with you all so you can all laugh with me.

If it was only this way it would be much more enjoyable. Hopefully this was a great start to all of your days.

PvP Deaths

So it is Friday, which means it is time for the weeks Reader Post. This week the topic was pretty simple just send in the stories of some of your favourite PvP Deaths you have experienced. After reading all the ones sent in I came to the conclusion that people will really do anything to kill someone in PvP. So here are some of the submissions.

I take claim for the stupid stick for taking the bait. EoTS... fighting over at the Draenei Ruins... About to kill a Hunter who is backing up towards the ledge... well I follow him over and am falling right next to him.... All the while he spams /point /laugh... right before we hit the point where we fall off the screen I land one nice Crusader Strike and kill him... I return atleast 1 /point and /laugh emote before death.

Back in BC at Halaa... me and a mage were fighting a hunter and warrior at one of the flight spots.... The mage blinked and ran right off the cliff.... All 3 of us actually stopped to laugh and look over the cliff to see where he landed. Then I had to bubble and jump off said cliff due to incoming gankage... and the hunter followed me.

So I was doing some 1v1 Arena (Goldshire) and a Rogue challenges me. He was combat spec, mostly epic some blue, so I outgeared him by alot, so I thought to myself... I won't attack him. At all. ...and it worked! Hit shield block when he killing spreed and he bursted himself to death. Not even kidding. Won the duel without using any offensive abilities.

I was in Eye of the storm running to get the flag and every time the retarded ass shaman kept thunderfucking me off the edge. I kept getting frustrated and wanted to beat the bastards head over my knee repeatedly. Except the next time I had a plan I got a deathgrip off on the idiot after he knocking me off the edge and he fell to his death with me. Ya I died like 5 times to him, but the one time I got him made it all worth it.

That is it for this week as always look for next week's topic during Ask Gauss. Enjoy your weekend, but really there is only one way to end a post like this

Needing A Laugh

So today if you are like me you need a good laugh. So here are to small comics I figured you would enjoy.

First one is the classic Skill vs Gear debate. Over the years this has always been a hot topic where anyone and everyone seems to have an opinion on the situation. I think this comic by nerfnow.com has finally put the debate to rest.

In this second comic it is much more thought provoking. Have you ever wondered how it is determined who is placed in your random heroic? Yes this must be a secret kept by GMs all over the WoW universe, but some how some way their methods have been leaked to us.

Hope you all enjoyed those. As I am sure you all have your own out there theories of how the invisible hand of Blizzard solves these problems which exist in Azeroth. So take this have a laugh and enjoy the crazy amounts of snow outside that have me stuck in the house and going some what mad, oh and Happy Groundhog Day

Raiding Is Fun Again

So it is Friday and is the custom on Friday's is to have the Reader Post. The post where you all write in your submissions to the topic of the week. This week I asked you to send in stories about you and the new raiding content. So without making you wait longer here it goes.

We have a Warlock who has connection issues. Her roommate is not very considerate and starts huge torrents while we’re raiding. She frequently lags out and then we hear over vent “I’m going to kill that b!@$%” The other day in BWD every time she would get on an elevator the lag was so bad she couldn't get off. By the time she got moving the elevator was already going back down. She kept dying over and over again to our delight at the cost of her sanity. We eventually had to have to have the other Warlock summon her up to the group so she wouldn't get on the elevator.

We were about to start clearing the trash to Magmaw and as we enter the room, one of our mages appeared to be quite fidgety. So he starts strafing left and right because the raid leaders is going over trash or something. Before you know it, the mage goes from the raid group to the middle of a dragonkin trash group and promptly dies, but not before he pulled everything and wiped the raid. Turns out his blink key was bound to his “f” key. I can say with absolute confidence that he no longer has blink bound to a key.

So my guild has been pretty successful thus far and have been killing Magmaw without issues the past couple weeks. We go in this week and didn't have enough damage for parasites, the tank is dying and it is overall a mess. Everyone starts bitching at everyone else telling them they are not doing there job. Then I notice when I zoned back in from running back that it says "Welcome to Blackwing Descent 25 player, this instance is due to reset in etc etc"

Our main tank hails from Tazmania so he has connection issues every now and then just from the distance. They’re not that bad since he’s still our MT. This story actually has nothing to do with that, but he did disconnect in the middle of a boss fight. He had apparently been running some kind of utility in the background and it popped a window up in the middle of a fight. He didn’t really look at it, just clicked to get rid of it. After a few seconds it dawns on him that the utility wanted to restart his computer and he had just OK’ed it to do so. His toon is standing still and all we hear is “Oh, no!” The funny thing was his tone of voice, it was very quiet and he really sounded like a little kid. He had actually said “Oh, no! My computer’s going to restart.” but he got cut off when it actually shut down. It’s become a running joke in the guild any time something goes wrong we all say “Oh, no!”

I was in the Throne of Four winds on the Wind platform when I got hit by the wind blast it promptly hit me into the transfer point which leads back to the staging area and then I some how flew right out of the instance. Still cannot explain how it happened. Seems those wind paths are unpredictable.

That is it for this week hope you all enjoyed it. Look for next week's topic during Ask Gauss if you would like to be apart of all the fun. Enjoy your weekend and hopefully it is not as cold for you as it is for me.

How Noob Of Me

So I noticed that I forgot to state what the topic was for the Reader Post this week. So that is a complete fail on my part. Therefore I decided to take a bunch of stories that people have sent me and throw them all together. Hope you enjoy them.

So we did the raid weekly, EoE, in record time. We actually like the instance. Now that we've got it almost to farm, it's the kind of thing we drag new guild members to because if you can't follow directions in Phase 3, you won't be able to follow them in Ulduar. Plus, we want the drake. We've seen it once. I had a brain fart moment when I couldn't remember how to get out of the place when we were done. The MT pipes up, "See the red down arrow, Gimm? You just click on it. Don't be so dumb." There are some things I will never live down.

I was with 2 friends. Our level and gear was probably a bit high for this instance since we practically three manned it. This is because the two people we got were the worst noobs I've ever seen. Being a player that has made a lot of mistakes I usually have lots of patients for people learning the game but OMG: First guy was a level 18 pally that didn't know how to play a pally or the instance but signed up to be the group leader, the tank and the healer. He got the healer slot. Luckly my friend was a Pally tank that could heal himself because our "healer" could not figure out how to target friendly players... He would wind up a big heal and POOF! Cast it on himself the whole instance. Guy number 2 was a mage that thought it was ok to need on every roll. So we needed to trade every time he took the wrong gear... at least he traded it. But the kicker was he didn't cast a SINGLE spell the entire time. Yes the MAGE thought it was best to melee it entire instance with his staff. We ask why aren't you casting damage spells? So he gave one frost bolt a try... I guess he didn't like the result so he went right back to melee... The perfect ending was that they requested to continue doing more randoms at the end of the run after saying many times in party chat "What a great group!!!" We simply said no thanks and left.

I only learned what talent points were when i hit about 50. Vanilla needed more invasive tooltips.... and if there were, i needed to learn2read

I was just starting an alt in Teldrassil, got past the noob area of the zone and grabbed cooking. While killing birds for the eggs they drop, some guy comes up and starts scolding me in very broken english (he sounded a lot like a chinese friend of mine so I understand the language thing) about how I should not kill the birds, and how they are our friends, that is why they have yellow name plates.

Uhh well when I was leveling my undead character I'd always accidentally come across the NPC's by scarlet monastery and think they were actual alliance players because every time they speak it'd come up in [Common] and they had the alliance shields next to their names (or so i had thought) and they always like one shotted me. I'd sit there calling them names thinking I was actually talking to somebody. And one time I was having this argument with one guy in the blood elf starting zone and he was fighting with me in General chat while I was fighting with him in /say chat and some guy went on general chat and called me some name so I fought with him for a good 10 minutes not realizing that everything I'm saying wasn't getting to him because he was talking in general chat and I was talking in /say chat and I didn't know how to talk in general chat or trade chat.

On my first toon (this one, as a matter of fact), I decided it would be fun to explore. I got all the way to Lakeshire when I realized the mobs were level 20. I was level 6 (and awesome). In a panic, I called my boyfriend (who'd been playing much longer) and asked him how to escape quickly. Mobs were closing in on all sides. He said: "Yeah, uhhh, you better use your hearthstone!". After much bag searching, I found it. I was quite excited! So excited that I deleted it by accident.

When trying out a mage character I would walk backwards after freezing the enemy. I posted on the forums asking what key people bind backwards walking to, saying how the down arrow and "s" key seemed inconvenient. I also stated how the space bar worked well, but then I couldn't find a good button for jumping. People seemed very interested in my post, and I was very confused when reading responses such as "10/10" and "would read again".

So this Sunday I will give a real topic for next week's reader post. Also for future reference try to tell me I am a dumbass before Thursday night.
