So here we are with yet another week coming our way and we don't know what list I am going to throw your way this week. What would you say if I said it was a secret? Well it kind of is a secret secret in how these levels themselves are secret in their game. They are not bonus stages or anything like that they are levels which you have to do something different to access and are not part of the main arc of the game. So here are my choices for the best.
5. Star Road - Super Mario World
For anyone who has ever played Super Mario World you will know how getting to Star World can make progressing through the game much easier and less time consuming. It is a shortcut, which everyone who is moderately serious about the game should look into accessing.
4. Fight Reptile - Mortal Kombat
One of the more difficult secrets on my list, but not something that isn't satisfying for doing so. In the original Mortal Kombat if you complete a battle on the pit and win perfectly with a fatality while the moon is in view you are rewarded with this secret battle.
3. All Hallows - Tomb Raider 3
What many believe was supposed to be part of the game, but didn't want to waste the content they created we have this secret level to explore with Lara. One that back when this game was new was one of the best visually appealing levels in gaming.
2. Aztec Level - GoldenEye 007
For a game that wasn't too difficult this map itself was quite the step up. Actually regarded as one of the toughest FPS levels around this featured our favourite secret agent going through an Aztec pyramid with enemies with the most perfect aim imaginable.
1. Cow Level - Diablo II
Who doesn't love a level spawning evil hellish cows with one thought on their minds? Not only that this level was probably the best grinding level in the game as long as you spared the Cow King.
There you have it this week's list full of secrets. Is there a secret level you think deserves a mention? as always let me know in some way or another!

Welcome To The Revolution, Battlejerks
Here we are getting up and enjoying the fact that it is already Wednesday. Maybe for the fact that the work week is at its half way point or you were just really curious what the list was going to be about this week. For the latter well this week I thought about doing the best "vehicle" sections in video games. Now I just want to point out that to qualify for this the game itself cannot be a vehicle game as that would be cheating. So here we go
5. Motorcycle - Final Fantasy VII
So you are on your way out of Midgar giant sword in hand and all you have to do is ride your bike at the same time. Just one of the many great mini game type things through Final Fantasy VII that made it so fun to play.
4. Streets - Goldeneye 007
So there was that great tank scene from the movie so it better have been in the game right? It was and really turns out to be one of the best parts to the game.
3. Mine Cart - Donkey Kong Country
The game is jsut starting and instead of the normal platforming you get to ride around in your mine cart and wonder how these tracks are still in use. Regardless still one of my favourite levels of the game.
2. Horseback Riding - Uncharted 3
Uncharted is know for its great action sequences and I could have chosen so many from all the games, but went with this one not only for the fun factor, but also for the difficulty one. Riding around just made the frustration that much more fun.
1. Turbo Tunnel - Battletoads
What happens when a really hard game makes a really hard level? Well you get this. Even if you begin to rage the level itself is fun that you just keep trying again and again to get it right.
There you have it this week's list. Do you have a level I may have missed? Let me know one way or another.

Toss Me
So I answered an interesting question on this past week's ask Gauss about if I think we would ever see a Game of Thrones game. Now that actually gave me a great idea about what to do with this week's list. Best adaptations into games there has been over the years. Something I did realize though is this doesn't happen in a positive manner anymore. It really seems to work the other way around making games into movies, shows, or books. Back when I was younger it used to always happen and I actually do have some great gaming memories from this happening. So let's take a look.
5. Willow
Way back in 1989 we were graced with this game. Now I have always enjoyed this genre of movie and this may really have been my first taste of it. If you have never seen the movie I do recommend checking it out. Regardless the game followed the movie pretty well and was played out in a Legend of Zelda style. Something I also have fond memories playing back on my NES
4. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
Another movie I enjoyed when I was younger I was thrilled to get my hands on this game. The style of the game was the older model of action adventure and not a full on ARPG we see developed today. Regardless the game played well and was a lot of fun even with the minor differences from the film.
3. Bart Simpson's Nightmare
Bart's Nightmare is the only TV show listing on the list, but regardless is well worth making this list. The game is based off an episode of the the show in which Bart falls asleep writing a paper. It takes you on many adventures all of which will increase Bart's grade on his paper. If only things actually worked that way.
2. Golden Eye
How can you have a list like this without including the game which has defined us by how much we played it. The only reason this game is not getting number 1 is because even though it is based off the movie which came out in 1995 of the same name most of us didn't play it for the single player except to get the unlocks. We played the multiplayer and drove each other nuts for countless hours.
1. Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers
Considered by many to be the greats movie to game adaptation ever made there really wasn't a doubt when i was making this list that it was going to be number 1. Ever since this game came out it seems making games based on movies and television has been in serious decline. The games are not taking seriously and most of the time it is because the games don't have the production value put into them. This game though had seamless transitions and you really thought you were a part of the story. Something even modern ARPGs failed at accomplishing.
There you have it this week's list all there for you to argue about. Tell me what you think agree or disagree.
