Common and Uncommon Mounts and Pets

Recently MMO champion has been doing these lists that show how common or uncommon particular mounts pets, and whatever else is for level 85 characters. Now they just did the lists, but I wanted to talk about them a bit. I would suggest you take a look at the lists before I start talking about them.

So it shouldn't be a surprise that the most people mounts for level 85 characters is the Abyssal Seahorse since it is part of a quest chain in one of the starter zones. What should surprise you is that only just over 70% of level 85s have done enough of Vashj'ir to actually get it. The most common mounts there isn't really one that surprises me at all, and I think that is obvious since you see them all the time.

The Rare mounts on the other hand there is some surprises. Let's ignore the Darkmoon stuff because there has hardly been any chance at that. I knew the black AQ bug was rare, but I never would have guessed it would have been that rare. I guess this could be explained that characters with this mount may have never been leveled to 85, which to me would make more sense. Another mount that I am glad to see is the love rocket because compared to other holiday mounts this seemed to be completely non existant. So this proves it is not just my horrible luck.

On the topic of pets well I don't think mr chilly should be a surprise at all along with the pug since they are pretty much automatic. Once again the common pets are what you would expect since you know there are common and you see them all the time.

For the rare ones I actually was hopping some of the pets where the profits went to charity such as the cenarion hatchling and the moonkin hatchling would be higher. The big surprise in the rare list to me is the fox as it seems to be more rare than some extremely rare TCG pets. I guess those pet farmers complaining about the drop rate of this have a good argument.

I don't know about you, but when MMO-Champion does these lists it is always interesting for me to look at them. Trying to find out if I am in the normal group or outside the box or have found or using something not a lot of people have. That's just me though. I do know people will see these and change everything they do just to be like others or try and get one of the super rares. Just do me a favour and don't go mad.

Diablo III Collector's Edition Pet

Well it was announced. What is really interesting is they have announced what the Diablo III collector's edition pet it, but they still haven't told us what the release date for Diablo III is. That in itself though is a topic for another day. So you all should know because you play WoW that every collector's edition Blizzard has sold for their games since WoW has been released has came with a bonus pet you can enjoy in Azeroth. You cannot enjoy pets in Outland because you are always scared for their survival since it is a massive flying meteor.

So with all of that in mind here is the "cute" little companion coming with the Diablo III collector's edit



So maybe cute wasn't the right choice of word, but regardless it is unique and something which screams Diablo. This may be my favourite collector's edition pet, but with frosty as a close second. What do you all think? Is it too much? Do you hate the collector's edition pets?

Singing Sunflower

So yesterday I finally decided to go out and do the Plants vs Zombies or as it is called in WoW Peacebloom vs Ghouls. It wasn't overly difficult and was fun. I actually enjoy the regular plants vs zombies so that may have something to do with it. I would say I used a strat but really it just comes down to having enough sun power which is achieved at the later levels with 2 rows of sunflowers. Then just go to town with the spitters and block off any areas that seem to be breaching.

Companion Pets and What They Say

Some people have been asking me to do this one for a couple weeks so I finally finished and decided to throw it up. Enjoy another Gaussie rant

Cat: So let's get his straight you are playing a game with over 100+ pets you could get and is also a game centred around fantasy and yet you pick a cat. Is your name Bagellord or are you just and idiot?

Magical Crawdad: You spent hours upon hours fishing this dam thing and everyone knows this yet when you are having an epeen contest this is the first one your bring out. Am I the only one who sees a problem here? Wait..I understand its not time wasted if you have nothing else you could possibly do. Grats at failing real life...I mean on the crawdad.

Willy: Face it you are using this pet so you can feed it biscuits so you can tell everyone "My willy is so big". That is not only not funny, but I am sure it proves the opposite is the actual truth.

Champion Seal Pets: So you wasted days and days doing dailies and bought something that serves no purpose but to stand beside you and look pretty. On the fail meter you rank pretty high here, and showing that you have more than one isn't doing you any favours...

Wolpertinger: Your using this pet because it makes you feel better because the dam thing is so ugly. You wouldn't feel better if you looked in the mirror once in awhile.

Egbert: Hello king of ADD. Your using this pet because it attracts attention by people asking you "does he always run off like that" or "is he going to pull the boss?" As always this doesn't mean you have friends this means your pathetic.

Battle Bot: So when you go into a store and say "OMG a need the Mountain Dew that gives me the pet in WoW" the people that started laughing are not laughing with you they are laughing at you. And yes that means your mom lied to you.

Sporebat: So not only did you farm a useless rep, but you went around collecting useless mushrooms to pay for the dam thing. That is like double fail. Your mother should apologize to the world for giving birth to you.

Mechanical Chicken: You are the kind of person that buys a blowup doll aren't you?

Blizzard Bear: This screams perfect for you if you have the Jenkins and Champion of the Frozen wastes title. People won't laugh at you they will just nod at the understanding that you are utterly horrible.

Collector's Edition Pets: You are admitting that you are not only addicted to this game, but that you paid $40 more just so you could get a pet in game. Do I need to add anything else?

Spirit of Competition: You get this pet just for participating. Your like that kid at the track meet that is so far behind everyone its embarrassing because the people are lined up for the next race waiting for them to finish. This pet should really renamed Spirit of Failure.

Argent Gruntling: So you think Child Labour is ok? WTF is wrong with you. Get your own crap you lazy bastard.
