Totalbiscuit Disconnects
For those of you who don't know John "Totalbiscuit" Bain has announced he is quiting social media. Now if you haven't heard the sound cloud of him doing so it will be at the bottom of this post. Now why is it that I feel the need to post about this? Well Totalbiscuit is a huge part of the gaming community and one of the people that has enabled eSports to take off the way it has outside of Korea. So ya gaming wise he is a big deal.
One thing he has never been able to do is step away from the negative. I just assume it is his personality that he wants to provide content that everyone likes. I get that, but I realized a long time ago you like me or you don't. It would drive me insane and break me down if I didn't do this. This is what has happened to Totalbiscuit. In addition to that he has terminal cancer, and makes what he is dealing with that much more difficult.
The thing is he wants to still provide everyone with what they like and want despite the large possibility that life itself is giving him the short end of the stick. This makes him an admirable guy and makes his actual goodbye something people should listen to feel how much it hurts him that he would do such a thing to those who enjoy everything he does.
Even with everything he has going on he still puts out more content then 90% of the industry and will continue to do so. He really is a special breed of person for someone who has every reason in the world to give up he keeps going doing what he loves and what people love him for.
Now to those who are forcing him to make this decision well you too are a special breed of person in the total opposite way. This isn't just about bad criticism this is about trolling someone who is going through this in their life. I really hope whoever these people are feel good about themselves. I for one will continue to watch and appreciate everything he does and if I agree or not still appreciate it all the same. As gamers we should all thank him for his contributions and the ones he continues to make every single day.

Rise Of The Zandalari
It is kind of disappointing that there isn't the same for Zul'Aman and I am only assuming this is because it is located in Ghostlands and a Burning Crusade zone isn't one that Blizzard wants to showcase and the current time.
The instances themselves weren't too difficult, but for people who have been raiding this tier I would hope they aren't too difficult for you since you obviously outgear them by a good margin. For the people they are geared towards I would think they are a bit of a challenge. For these people who outgear it, they can use the increased points, call to arms system, and of course achievements and rewards in these instances.
Overall I am happy with the lore and story of this patch thus far, and if you haven't seen the trailer for it well here it is
Enjoy the patch and its features. Of course make sure you take the time to experience it and not just rush through it as it is a one time thing and you won't get the opportunity again.

You Fail At Smack Talking WoW If...
You Fail At Smack Talking WoW If...
- You said Guild Wars would be the WoW killer
- You said Age of Conan would be the WoW killer
- You said Warhammer would be the WoW killer
- You said Aion would be the WoW killer
- You post a wall of text on the forums about how you are quiting thinking people actually care
- You complain the game has changed too much and is too hard
- You go on and on about WoWs numbers diminishing when they are actually increasing the number of subscriptions
- You created like 30 threads complaining that Firelands is not in patch 4.1
- You were one of the people that complaining how there is X.X# patches and not just X.# patches but then complain when they do an X.# patch doesn't have what you expected.
- You talk on and on how Blizzard only cares about money, and yet they don't charge for patches like other games do
- You complain about recycled content without realizing that Blizzard is making content that already exists in the game useful.
- You complain things are too easy, but then are the first to complain when they take away a title by increasing the difficulty because you earned it "Fairly"
- You say you are unhappy and you hate this game, but you still pay for it every month
- When complaining you offer no solution or ideas you just bitch and complain that stuff isn't as it should be without actually saying what "should be" is
And finally
- You think Rift is the greatest thing ever made without realizing it is just WoW with a gimmick except it has no story to keep people interested
And there we have it this week's Fail Day. That feels really good to get that off my chest. Enjoy your Free Loot Tuesday.

Takin' Back What is Ours

So I knocked something else off my list yesterday in helping with the retaking of the Echo Isles. Being a lore buff I was not disappointed in the least. For those who haven't done it yet I strongly recommend it. It went pretty smooth for me expect for the fact it took like 10 minutes for my tiger to spawn. Speaking of the tiger, this was a great way to introduce Troll druids to the game. Making it known that they have always existed, but have just been in hiding. I also loved the touch that one of the Troll volunteers you picked up in Razor Hill rides back with you on the Ivory Raptor. As you see in the picture above I made sure I paid tribute to the Trolls by hiding a raptor the entire time.
The music throughout the entire event made it have that epic feeling I was looking for, just as it was in the Battle for Undercity. Waiting there getting ready for the assault and listening to Vol'jin you could tell they really put a lot of time into making this an event one to remember. Here is some of that dialogue
Sons and daughters of de Darkspear! Friens of de tribe! We be gatherin' here, on de shores of Sen'jin Village, to be takin' BACK what is ours! Come, now! Join de liberation of de Echo Isles! Zalazane will FALL! We be gettin' ready to march to de Isles, an' FREE dem of Zalazane's wicked rule! Join me! Zalazane's time has come! De Darkspear will have a proper home again. Be ready! So sign up help the Trolls or if you are Alliance help the Gnomes retake their city. This is a one time thing and you won't have forever to do it and will never be able to do it once Cataclysm hits. Also don't forget to turn that sound on to make it sure you get everything out of it.

Trolls
I have never really understood the theory of a troll though. Take the guy last night 2+ hours in trade chat talking about me on a Level 1 toon. Using of course a former guildmate as a namesake. Now for awhile I had a little fun watching his ranting over random crap. How do they keep themselves entertained for so long? Should I feel pride that I did something to someone so drastic that they felt the need to go on and on for hours. What did he really expect to get out of the entire situation?
Love me or hate me I will always be Gauss.
