Just A Quick Update

So I figured I would give you all a quick update to let you know what is going on. Since I received quite a few emails about why there was no Reader Post or an Ask Gauss this past week. Now first off I am alive so no need to worry about that or in some of your cases you can stop cheering. I thought I would be able to keep the blog going while I had some stuff going on in my personal life but that doesn't seem to be the case. So don't freak out this isn't about me not blogging anymore.

So over the next week or so will probably be MIA since I will not only be packing up but also moving. So with having to do all of that I just won't also have the time to research topics and bring you the best content possible. No one likes makeshift content so I am not going to do it. Feel free to still send me emails as I will have some breaks and will try my best as always to respond in a timely manner. Until then try not to have too much without me.

Ask Gauss

Here we go the weekend coming to an end. Went by pretty fast it seems. Has been crazy hot here, yes we don't always hang out with the polar bears here. I know hard to believe, but it's true. With it being Sunday though that means it is time for Ask Gauss. The post of the week where I answer a few questions which have been sent to me throughout the week. So I haven't been able to comment or even access your sidebar on the blog what is wrong?

Google's dynamic views appears to be not working. I actually reworked the blog to an older style and updated it to make it more Gauss. You should be able to access all the information now without a problem. For all the people that sent in concerns on this issue it is appreciated and I have reported the error to Google. So for now will have to put up with a little less interactive blog although I made it look pretty good I think. Don't all of you? Really it comes down to the fact if you can't read or access something let me know and I will either tell you it is your computer and help you work it out or it could be a problem in general and I will fix it.

What is the best collector's edition you ever purchased?

The Final Fantasy XII was a pretty good edition, but I am unsure if that should count because it also was an anniversary edition so it just wasn't for the game. So in just game context I think I would have to go with Uncharted 3. Naughty Dog has always been great with collector's edition but with Uncharted 3 they went above and beyond what has been the norm. Especially now with companies using them as cash cows. The relic it came with was something else and fairly or not I base every collector's edition I get now to it. Kind of makes me excited to see what is going to happen when Uncharted 4 comes out.

I know you don't play Xbox games but when was the last time you played Call of Duty?

Two Years Of Gaussafication

All I can say is wow. I never thought I would be at this point. I am not the greatest writer or even a moderately good one by anyone's standpoint, but yet I have been able to keep everyone informed and entertained for 2 years. This blog started as a point of just putting into words what I was doing. Be it raids, pvp, ranting, complaining, poking fun at, or anything else. And the thing is I am still doing exactly this.

I was told many times you cannot write a blog daily without having a focus. I really think I have proven those doubters wrong. The stats also support the point that more and more are coming here everyday to read what I have to say. Sure I have talked about things that not everyone agrees with. I have even talked about things that have generated a god awful amount of hate mail. I have never let any of that phase me though. I have always thought that if people are going to take the time to write me it doesn't matter if they are hating on me or if they are praising about something the fact is they still wrote me.

The fact of the matter it is because of all you that come here read what I have to say, comment on it, email me about it, or all the other things you do that lets me know that you appreciate and look forward to what I have to say. So much so that I have been asked about other games several times. Who knows maybe someday I may branch off, but WoW keeps me very busy. There is always things to talk about or to look back on.

There have been countless moments over the past year and way too many to actually go through and remember them all. I will leave that to all of you to pick. That is exactly what the next Reader Post is going to be about. Your favourite moment from Gaussafication from the past year.
