Sunday! Well this is the time where I normally say you feel horrible because your weekend is coming to an end, but it is Victoria Day weekend in my neck of the woods so then if you are like me your weekend isn't coming to an end. So if you are lucky like me you can enjoy the extra day otherwise than yes feel free to be depressed. So while you are doing one or the other let's get on with the questions.

Do you think Overwatch is going to get into Esport territory?

It seems as though Blizzard is heading in that direction. Really though that all depends on the community and the professional players if they want to put the time in. FPS games have been Esports for years. If the entertainment value is there and people are willing to put the time in for it to be competitive then it will work. Now will it be as big as the other major players? Well that remains to be seen.

What are your thoughts on the big changes coming in Civilization 6?

With a game going into its 6th iteration there better be changes coming or people will lose interest. Now the changes proposed to Diplomacy, Warfare, and Victory are done in the way that old players will be able to adapt without issues and new players will not be overly confused. Civilization is not new player friendly I think these changes actually do aim that in a new direction.

Why do hate on Call of Duty?

Is that a real question?

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Yes here we are at the end of the weekend and for those going to school the time when you do all the homework you have been ignoring all weekend. Oh yes what fond memories I have of doing just that. Sunday's now though are my time for answering questions. You know the ones you have been sending in all week to gaussafication@gmail.com? So why don't I get to that.

So Rexxar, what do you think?

Now regretfully I haven't had much time to play him, but from what I have got to I am a little disappointed with the Misha control. Now this does make it less of a skillful champion and doesn't run into the problems of Lost Vikings and the skill cap. Truthfully I think it has been left as is so Rexxar is more warrior than specialist because otherwise he could be used for extensive XP farming like the vikings are. I am sure I will take a liking to him with more play I was just expecting something else is all.

So Method break up. What are your thoughts?

Well guilds which are competing for world firsts will always have some sort of drama. It is the guild leaders responsibility to keep them motivated and aimed towards a goal. This becomes much more difficult when there is no content which is the case at the end of expansions. With WoD this is even worse because it has been short there isn't even much content for alts to go through.

Why don't you ever include Call of Duty lists?

Because I actually try to make lists people care about.

Have You Seen My Bear Tibbers?

Wednesday yes it really is the middle of the week already. You really do have to catch up on all that work you have been ignoring so far. Before you do though you really should check out this week's list. I know that was a pretty horrible lead in, but I am slightly tired. This week I thought about games that are not bad but are overrated. Now let's get this straight just because a game is overrated doesn't mean I think it is bad, it actually just means it is overrated. So here are my top 5 overrated games.

5. League of Legends

Now I don't by any means think this is a bad game. I think this really is a well balanced and put together MOBA. That being said I feel because this game is free to play and sprung its popularity to extremely high levels. So many play it so many talk about it and it just goes on and on. That along with the fact that the skil lcap for it isn't nearly as high as many who play think it is leads me to this conclusion

4. Grand Theft Auto V

Is this game a good game? Yes. But is the story dull and boring and the games popularity is only because basically you can get away with anything in multiplayer? Yes. Let's face it people think this game is awesome because of the random shit they are doing to others. That doesn't make it ever game of the year material and really just makes it get only very quickly to people who enjoy well put together games.

3. Halo(All of them)

Like most XBOX only games they are hyped and hyped to no end, because something is thrown at you over and over again doesn't mean it is a good thing. Especially when changes between games are minimal and the story takes the obvious and makes it seem impossible.

2. Angry Birds

This games just bothers me. It is a copy of so many other games before it, and really because of its takeoff on mobile it seems to have this following of mass crazy people who make Harry Potter fans look like normal. 

1. Call of Duty(All of them)

Same thing over and overt again with minor changes marketing to children who should even be allowed to play the game because of the rating in the first place. Just seeing these games on the shelf angers me.

There you have it. Agree or Disagree you know where to do it.

Recycled Warfare

So I never make it a secret how I have a distaste for Call Of Duty games. This really has nothing to do with the toxic community it has. Although it is only so much you can take hearing kids voice crack when they tell you they banged your mother all night. It also has nothing to really do with how the games style isn't of interest to me. I can appreciate FPS games for what they are. They are never going to be my favourite games or ones I will be playing non stop, but I know a good game when I see one. So what is it really then?

Well it is simple they release the games so close together with at most minor changes and repackage it as new. Ea even changes more for their yearly sport games then the changes in the CoD games. Most games release new maps and changes this minor in patches. You know patches, which are free. Or sometimes in expansions or DLCs for a fraction of a cost of a brand new game. Not only do these games have DLCs with even less content then most games they still release these "new" games at a yearly rate. They also charge new price as in $60+ for these games, which is disgusting.

Now there will be people saying well people are buying it so they will keep doing that, and that is true. Doesn't mean the practice is correct though. Do you think people will complain if they paid less or if it was just some sort of addon pack? This doesn't even mention how horrible the gameplay of these "new" games seem because it is just a patched up older game.

This is the kind of practice the gaming world needs to rid itself of. It is disgusting and won't stop while people are still participating. We as gamers need to let these companies know it is not ok.

Happy Saturday! Hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had the greatest day. I did a lot of cooking, and cleaning...eating..more cleaning. :D Had a lot of great send ins for the pictures I requested. Some of them were pretty interesting. One of them, the person had a bunch of pipes on the walls, almost like they are forced to game in the basement...or garage. I'm sorry man, that sucks lol. Others were crazy. One guy had a bunch of $1 bills on the desk. haha not going to say anything on that. I picked 4 that I loved the most. In the end Gauss and I had to pick one. So grats Nazaraki :) 

Getting to know the guild you're in.

The Overly Helpful: Hears every request, and without inquiry the task is finished in seconds. Even offers to fix the guild bank tabs for you on a regular basis.

The Stoner: One of the most loyal members you will come across. Really easy to recognize on vent, because they hardly talk, and even when they do it's usually to laugh about something, or argue politics.

The Hothead: Things don't go their way they make it a priority to let everyone else in the guild know what a horrible leader you are, and how they could've done better if it were them you gave all the loot to all the time..Offers help to nobody

The No-Lifer: No matter what time of day /night you log on. They are online. Stay away from these people. They have nothing to lose.

The Sweetheart: Genuinely cares about everyone's well being, personable and sweet. Often used as the guild therapist.

PVP GOD: Pvp is life, that is it. PVE does not exist nor will it ever.

The Young One: Ambitious, always ready for raids unless mom says no. Will stand by your side, until age 16. Then you are the reason for their bad rotation.

The Fill Ins: You have no idea who they are, or who invited them but they are always on. Never talk or offer any sort of attachment to the guild in any way.

God: The one who leads all events and raids, deals with everyone's inevitable communal menstruation, and as always the result of all the glory. 

With the Holiday's hitting, black Friday/boxing day happening, there are incredible deals happening for all aspects of gaming. Peripherals, games, systems, game credits, and bean bag chairs. 

Battlefield 4: Sticks to its signature emergent chaos, that makes multiplayer remarkable. Conquest mode, allows 64 players to have at it, in one great big map on next gen systems, and PC. Obliteration game, where a bomb randomly spawns, both sides fight over acquisitions in getting it to one of three detonation locations on the map. Domination, holding places on the map, where certain modes prefer particular maps. So much to look forward to, alot of console gamers seem to be anticipating this game more than Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag has more than been covered by Gauss so I will excuse it.

2013/2014 Is where it's at.

You Fail At Trash Talking If...

Fail Day! Yes it is that time once again. Also today is a great day because the NHL season starts today! Yes that is the hockey crazed Canadian coming out in me, but I don't care. Go Leafs Go! With hockey starting, and some recent events in my own little gaming world I thought I would do this week's piece on trash talking so here we go.

You Fail At Trash Talking If...

• Any of your trash talking includes Call of Duty
• When you loose horribly after your endless banter you disconnect yourself so you have an excuse
• Your skills are trumped by Bagellord
• Your APM is so low it is actually difficult to calculate
• The words "Your Mom" comes out of your mouth while you are talking
• You are a Habs fan
• No one has actually ever witnessed your so called "greatness"
• You think of random horrible excuses why you cannot play the game you are the greatest at
• You are the best rogue on the server
• You were Diamond in LoL but your history obviously points to the fact you were never higher than Gold
• You apologize for your trash talking
• You say "I am the best at ___" followed by "You do you do ____"
• You own people with Goliaths in Starcraft II always in 1v1
• When you lose you enter a state of rage where random giberish comes out of your mouth or is some how typed. This is followed by a moment of silence, which is then followed by the words "I am done with this stupid shit"

and finally

• The words good, great, amazing, and awesome are not words which would ever be used to describe you.
