Is His Majesty Albert Alright?

Armor? Check. Sword? Check? Noble Birth? Does that really even matter? Well if you haven't guessed I am referring to something you cannot escape when it comes to fantasy games at all. That is the knight. Everyone has their favourites and with today being a day for a list well here is the perfect opportunity for you to know mine!

5. Cecil Harvey - Final Fantasy IV

The main character in an often forgotten Final Fantasy game. He is the definition of everything a knight should be even if he rebelled against what were supposed to be his knightly duties. Honorable, driven, and there to save the day when needed!

4. Esbern - Skyrim

He is one of the last surviving member of the blades. He is there as an archivist and has made it his goal to predict the return of the dragons. He then is their when the prophecy unfolds and takes you under his wing to prepare you for the war ahead.

3. Sir Arthur - Ghosts N Goblins

What does one do when the princess is captured? Well what any good knight would do. Grab your lance and be off to save her. On the way be sure to kill anything you see to make sure the blue haired princess is yours when it is all over.

2.Siegfried - Soul Calibur Series

So not only does he have noble goals in mind for his quest to avenge his father's death he has a big ass sword! His quest is one which rips him apart and spawns Nightmare a being of pure hatred and evil based upon the emotions he has gone through. In the end though he is able to defeat Nightmare and maintain his purity and honor.

1. Lavitz - Legend of the Dragoon

Was there really any doubt? This is someone who gave his life for those he was sworn to protect. He was always honorable from day one and stood up for everything he believed in. Still get the feels when i watch his death scene.

There it is my favourite and what I believe to also be the greatest knights in video games. Think otherwise? Well be sure to let me know even if I won't agree

I Demand A Better Ending

So here we are in the middle of the week trying not to do much of anything. So what better way to make you want to do something then to give you a list to argue about. This week's list is an interesting one because everyone is going to argue how this wasn't as bad as that. Inspired by last week's best opening sequence comes this week's worst ending. You know you beat a game and you are all pumped because you know you are awesome and what better way for you to hate everything then to just make you rage endless at the crap that just popped up on your screen. So here it comes my top 5 worst endings also don't be stupid there is obviously spoilers contained below.

5. Mass Effect 3

A Game based upon the choices you made across 3 games. One where it matter what you did in the previous game to get you start in the next. This was what the Mass Effect series was all about. It is not really hard to believe that when the trilogy finally ended you got a few generic endings which proved your choices really didn't matter at all.

4. Final Fantasy XIII-2

Final Fantasy XIII-2 sure the ending starts off as if everything is going great the happy music plays it looks like you saved the world. All is well. Then Serah dies and the whole world goes to shit and you find out you didn't save the world you destroied it. All the while the happy music is still playing and you are wondering what in the hell just happened. Yes I am still a little bitter about this one.

3. Resistance 2

In Resistence 2 you are with Nathan Hale he is stuggling with an alien virus and you get through everything and expect to find a cure. But no this doesn't happen you start talking crazy and then get shot in the head and the game goes to a black screen. Yes that really happened like what the hell!

2.  Borderlands

So here you are approaching this vault which is supposed to be full of loot, but no there ends up being this insane tentacle monster and you were tricked the entire time because there is no loot. The entire point of the game was just for you to kill the damn monster that you were being lied to about. They didn't tell you because they figured you wouldn't want to help them with you little problem. Of course you wouldn't!

1. Ghosts N' Goblins

So you play Ghosts N' Goblins a difficult game not only because it is actually extremely hard but because you cannot save. So you beat it you get to the end and you win! only to be found with these words

"This room is an illusion and is a trap devist by satan. Go ahead dauntless! Make rapid progress"

It then proceeds to put you back to the start to complete the game again... If you happen to beat it again you get a screen which reads

"Congraturation This story is happy end. Thank you. Being the wise and covragdour knight that you are you feel strongth welling in your body. Return to starting point to challenge again!"

Yes that really happens. Thre just isn't a game which produces this much angry upon actually beating it.

Hope you enjoyed this week's list as much as I did putting it together. What games have had horrible endings in your minds? Be sure to let me know.
