So it is Monday so need to showcase something to get it being Monday off of everyone's mind. If you were not aware Carbot everyone's favourite Animator has created a new series! No way you say? Well he has and it is called I'd Be Cool If. So just watch and be amazed!
And ya that would be cool wouldn't it?

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Here we are just sitting around waiting for Walking Dead and wondering where our weekend went. Before you get all crazy wondering about it let's take a look at this week's questions.
Do you feel Villains are more important than the heroes in modern gaming?
The hero has always had the most development in any game you have ever played. Why? Because they are the one you send the most time with. Their development seems slow, while a villain who has a lot less screen time has to be more memorable whenever you see him. With modern gaming story telling has become much better so these memorable moments are becoming more and more spectacular. When you think about it though it has always been this way. Sephiroth is recognized as one of the greatest villains ever in gaming. Just think for a moment how much he actually appears in Final Fantasy VII. He is just more memorable because Final Fantasy VII's story was just way ahead of it times in terms of development.
Do you ever just get an itch to play an old game, then binge it?
All the time. This happens a lot with older RPGs with me. I will be playing a new game and it makes me think about something older then I just have to. You just get into and everything you do reminds you of your first playthrough. How difficult it was to how easy it was this time around. Also makes you think about how much harder games were because you only had you to do it versus now if you really wanted you have the internet to help you along. So no you aren't weird, that is unless we both are.
So why no Reader Post?
Well did you see the Uncharted trailer?
There you have it questions for the week. Hope you all got something out of it in some way or another. Now you have my permission to enjoy the rest of your weekend.

A Thief's End Story Trailer
So today is Friday and it is supposed to be the Reader Post. Normally it would be except that this thing happened yesterday and it cannot go unnoticed to me. This is what it was.
Yes if you haven't seen it well just know I have watched it enough for the both of us. The story looks intriguing I was wondering how they were going to bring Nathan back in and how they would introduce same. While I still have a ton of questions regarding the whole same thing I know Naughty Dog and I know we will get some explanation for it all.
So while I know some people are up in arms about this long lost character thing I am not worried about it. We will get our normal Nathan Drake doing his Drake things just only slightly older. We will also have our Sully wit, and or Elena there to make sure everyone survives and is kept honest.
I don't know about all of you but this trailer just makes the wait that much more unbearable. April 26th just can't get here soon enough!
Enjoy your weekend. The Reader Post will be back as per normal next week!

Why Do You Care?
So here I am having one of my moments when I stare at a wall and get these random thoughts. Why do people care so much? I am not referring to life in general, but with regards to gaming. You know your score, your rank, your prestige, or your league.
Now I can understand if you are a pro player these things are important. This determines if you get invited to events if you have a chance to make money and maybe buy yourself a little something extra this month. To others though why is this so important? Do you really feel you are that much more amazing because you are rank 9 than rank 15, because you are silver instead of bronze, that you have 3 stars vs 5 stars.
Is this because we are born to be competitive? Or is it just important to those who have nothing else of significance to put on their resumes? Lately I have just got the feeling that some people care too much about how well they are doing with their gaming leisure time. What happened to it being fun an memorable? What happened to randomly dying and thinking it is hilarious? What happened to using stupid builds and some how making them work. What happened to spelling "LOL" in pylons?
So here it is, my challenge to all of you. Try to have fun with your games for the day and not be crazy serious and wondering if you are doing things the "right" way. Do things the way that makes it fun and enjoyable and something you can talk about later, when you are not pretending to pat yourself on the back.
Who knows you might actually have more fun then you expected.

It's okay... It's Like Water Under The Bridge
Wednesday! Yes it is the middle of the week and not something always to look forward to because there is so much of the week remaining. There is that little thing about me making a list though and you wondering what it is all about. Well this week decided to go with the best number 2's for those villians we love in gaming. So sit back and be prepared to argue that I got it wrong.
5. Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid Series
So I figure many of you will think he should be higher and I may agree, but the thing is his allegiance is all over the place and I for one am not really sure whose side he is really on. So he makes the list, but not higher than this.
4. Kamek - Super Mario Bros. Series
So everyone's favourite guy riding a broom. Well I use favourite carefully. If anything you know if this guy is around the level is going to be fun in one way or another.
3. Goro - Mortal Kombat Series
This guy screams henchmen. He really is the one that popularized the role and made it something to be developed further. So we have to give him props for that.
2. Harley Quinn - Batman Arkham City
One of the most interesting and disturbing characters from comics made her gaming appearance and we were not disappointed. Her "type" of characters has spawned others throughout the gaming universe and for that she deserves a lot of praise.
1. Vaas Montenegro - Far Cry 3
Was there a doubt? For the most part we thought he was the big baddie of the game. He is so good you want to forget the last part of the game because you thought this character was just masterful.
There you have it this week's list. I am sure there will be some backlash with this one as always let me know one way or another.

You Fail At Identifying A Good Game If...
Fail Day! Yes here it is, and you are wondering if you are going to be the subject of ridicule for the day. Maybe you will be maybe you won't be. This week I decided to go with an idea that I have been holding on for awhile and just decided that today is the day that I was finally going to right it down. So why don't we get right to it.
You Fail At Identifying A Good Game If...
- Every game you play is the sequel to the previous game you played
- Good games are the ones where you always "pwn da noobs"
- The game is better when you wear the power of the headset
- You think PC gaming is a waste of time
- You think Console gaming is a waste of time
- You think GTA 5 deserved game of the year
- You think replay value is overrated
- You think balance is not important
- You can't tell the difference between framerates
- You think Destiny was a good game
- You enjoyed the controls Lair launched with
- You think games based off movies are always amazing
- You are a clicker or keyboard turner
And Finally
- Every game you recommend is for an xbox
There you have it this week's edition of fail. Hope you all enjoyed it and maybe even learned something. If not? Well then I really just don't know what to do.

Starcrafts Brood War Finale
Monday, it's here and you have to live with it. Now on Friday you may have missed Carbot's Brood War Finale, but that is what I am here for to make it all better. So sit back have a bit of nostalgia and maybe a little rage while you watch it and it will all be better.
Now wasn't I right?

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Here we are on yet another happy Sunday realizing that our weekend is just about over. Also realizing that we really didn't spend it the way we intended to. Well at least we can watch the Walking Dead tonight so it will not be a total waste. Well instead of being depressed why don't we see the questions for the week.
Do you really think Azeroth would be the best gaming world to explore?
Well that's what I said in my list. Like I also said everyone is going to have different opinions. I know for me being able to play World of Warcraft gave me a sense of the world that much more. playing the RTS games I always thought the world was quite interesting and unique. Not just because I enjoy fantasy worlds, but because how everything is connected. Past and Present. I think a lot of fantasy worlds the origin of them is a lot more in the dark, but in Azeroth the landscape speaks to its origins and culture, which is why I find it so intriguing.
Do you think "The Last of Us 2" will be a big letdown?
Anytime you have a great game the one that follows it is always in for tough criticism. 3 big examples are Final Fantasy 8, Diablo III, and Assassin's Creed 3. This at the time of released were looked down upon for a variety of reasons. Mostly in my mind because the games that came before them and the characters within them were so grand that there was no way that people wouldn't be disappointed with what came next. I think this may happen with the second The Last of Us game. Do I think it will be a bad game? No not at all, but it will be following in the footsteps of one of the greatest games ever made, which is a tough thing to do.
Where has Bagellord been?
Jumping off a boat somewhere I assume.
There you have it this week's questions all there to see. Thank you to everyone who sent something in regardless if I got to it on here or not. It would not be possible to do this without all of your contribution. Just know I will get to your questions eventually if I haven't all ready. You now have my permission to enjoy the rest of your weekend

The Great Exile?
Friday, and time for a Reader Post. You know the post of the week where I look through what was sent to myself and pick one to showcase. Well this week I had a very interesting entry from Magmaer who seems like an obvious Alliance friendly player. Regardless of that he does make some pretty good points and it is an interesting read about how the Horde should be exiled. So have a read.
It's clear by now that the Horde has no future in Azeroth. Initially it was a demon-driven invading army that ultimately failed and got scattered. Then came Thrall with a vision of a new Horde: based on honor, companionship and, some might say, something more spiritually balanced than "kill all, take all".
When WoW started the Horde was a new family made of wild races looking for peace and prosperity. There was a dream, a plan.
And it failed.
Its very author, who used to seem wise and balanced, suddenly abandoned his post and chose, by reasons that defy logic, a unprepared new warchief that was the embodiment of everything that went wrong in the past.
The thing about rehabilitation is that it requires patience, work and continuity. It's a delicate work, and any fallback might ruin it indefinitely. Someone that starts over and falls again will, quite understandably, lose the trust of those around him. The dream of a new horde was first shaken, and them ruined. The inhabitants of Azeroth don't belive in them anymore- they'll always expect them to go bloodlust batshit crazy again. And - more importantly - the Horde members themselves don't belive in the vision anymore. Now broken, the core of the horde has no place in Azeroth anymore: a world filled with people committed to honor and decency, fighting against all evils. Now a invaded world, there is no more place for the unstable, crazy, maniac horde anymore. It would be a mistake to dismantle the horde: that would only create other, perhaps more complicated, future problems. Extinguishing them would go against the azerothian ideals.
The Horde should be exiled.
A golden opportunity showed up with ancient Draenor. The land is the original orcish world. It was preserved from destruction, ridden of the Burning Legion and of the most vile orcish leaders. In sum: it was cleaned up. It's a perfectly healthy world now and it's exactly what a group of wild and broken races need to forge a new future. How would this work? Orcs, trolls and tauren move to draenor, the native draenei move to their Azeroth settlement, the blood elves have the choice of remaining in Quel'Thalas or leaving, and the forsaken are left to their future in Azeroth. How often a chance like this appears for those that screw up hard and many times over? Some would say it's way more than they deserve, some would remind the things they suffered and how they do deserve a chance to start over.
In any case, it's way more than ever was offered the draenei.
There you have it. What do you think? Or is this too much thought for a Friday? As always thanks to everyone who sent something in, this wouldn't be possible without all of your contributions. Enjoy your weekend

I Wasn't Violent Either
You know I was doing what I do just looking at random stuff on the internet when this meme popped up. Things like this have always bugged me. Not that I think it is true that violence in games makes people violent in real life. There is plenty of medical research which counter proves this. The thing that bothers me is people who use this as an excuse.
I went off the other day about how parents the bad ones make bad choices for their kids in the world of gaming. Just the fact that I have read countless news posts about parents complaining that their was not able to see Deadpool or the fact that they did and that the company responsible should have made it more kid friendly.
This is the problem with society and I have talked about entitlement over and over again. Will kids get violent from playing video games? No more than them playing SimCity will make them become mayor or Mindcraft will turn them into a Coal Miner. Should an 8 year old be playing a game with a mature rating? Probably not because even if it won't make them into a cold blooded killer it may scare them or desensitize them to whatever is going on in the game. We don't need a bunch of emotionless robots running the world in 30 years.
So ya you didn't turn out violent, neither did I, and all your friends didn't because you played such and such and watched such and such. Your parents though were probably smart with some of the choices they made and didn't use the fact you weren't a violent psychopath as an excuse to be a bad parent like a lot of people do now.
So do me a favour if you see one of these parents let them know how dumb they actually are.

See Your World Through My Eyes
Wednesday it is upon us and it is time I make myself a list. Now what list will I be going with this week? Well I decided to go with the top 5 worlds of gaming I would love to visit. With that in mind there are countless worlds from gaming and really these are where I would go because I think the things and people to see would be to my liking. So with that in mind it is probably much different than yours.
5. Mushroom Kingdom - Super Mario Bros.
This was one of my first gaming worlds visited and one that I never will forget. There are plenty of things and people to see and something which is much different than the world I live in. So that is why it makes the list.
4. Koprulu Sector - Starcraft
So I am not a super into science fiction, but I do love me some Starcraft. Also have always wondered what it was like to communicate with a Protoss.
3. Nirn - Elder Scrolls
Can you say Dragons? Can you say countless languages and landscapes. Everything just seems so picturesque, how could you not want to be a part of it.
2. Gaia - Final Fantasy VII
What can I say, I want to try me some Materia. Also want to know how they can do their hair like that, and wield swords twice the size of themselves. Sign me up.
1. Azeroth - Warcraft
Ever since I was a kid wanted to be a part of Azeroth. World of Warcraft even made me want to more. Everything about the races, the places just something which is so large in scope and beyond imagination.
There you have it my top 5 gaming worlds I would love to visit. What are yours? Let me know in one way or another.

You Fail At Being A Good Gaming Parent If...
So in honor of parents totally ignoring the fact that Deadpool is an R Rated superhero and he won't be changed to suit your agenda or prove you are a "great" parent by taking your kids to go see it. I decided for this week's Fail Day to go on about Gaming Parents.
You Fail At Being A Good Gaming Parent If...
- You bought them an XBOX
- To teach your kid lessons that life isn't fair you make them play the Dark Souls Series
- Your Parental Controls password is 0000
- You don't think they are addicted because you play more WoW than them
- You bought them Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge
- You buy games so a different console then they have
- You bought a game because it "looks fun"
- You are angry with your 8 year old for being a horrible partner
- You believe "Mature" rating mans they have to be mature for their age
- You buy it because your kid will be mad if you don't
- You write letters to companies telling them to tone down their games so your kid can play it
And Finally
- You are progressive in your parenting and think ESRB is a waste of time
There you have it this week's edition of fail hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did writing it. Now go off and be awesome

Happy Family Day!
Happy Family Day! Well at least that is what it is called around here. I am sure there are plenty of other names for the holiday if there is one today for you. With it being Family Day though I thought it was best to share a video that spoken to family. So what better way then a tribute to the Kenways. So here it is!
Enjoy the holiday! Even if you don't celebrate it!

Ask Gauss
Sunday! It is here and whatever shall we do? Well besides waiting for the Walking Dead this evening we can see what questions I am answering this week. So let's go ahead and do that.
Why has it become a trend for gaming companies to release games full of bugs?
I think it is because they think we the consumer won't wait if they announce a delay. I know some companies have no problem announcing delays, but these are the types of companies that have a reputation of taking "too long" with their releases. Other companies who always stick to their release dates have a tendency to release games that are being majorly patched within the first week sometimes even the first day. In my mind companies should release games when they are ready not because they said it might be ready on some arbitrary date. Only think we can do is be vocal and let companies know we don't want to deal with this.
When do you think we will see Legion released?
I really think the movie will come out and Blizzard will use the hype of the movie to bring people back to Azeroth. So I would guess the Tuesday following the release of the movie or the following week. It will be very close though. It really is just good marketing. I expect that we will get an official release date soon.
Why is Cloud part of Super Smash Bros.?
Because he thinks it will bring Aerith back
There you have it this week's questions all answered. Hope everyone got something out of them in one way or another. Enjoy what is left of your weekend and Happy Valentines Day.

Wrathion, What Is His Deal?
So here we are staring at Friday and wondering how the weekend is going to go. Well before you get ready for all that your should probably read this week's Reader Post brought to you by FroSanity. He wants to know what is the deal with Wrathion's Lore and where is it going. As you does make some good points he does make some appearances within Legion right now. So have a read and enjoy!
Wrathion. What the hell is his deal?
Cataclysm - really only "known" to the rogues who go through the legendary teeth questline to rescue this last black dragon egg, right? Turns out it's really Aladdin, Crown Prince of Future Visine Commercials.
Mists - he shows up in this wedged-in zone for a wedged-in quest to introduce the PVP faction war area of the expansion. You rep grind for your faction while he strokes his belly button and then says "whew, you're going to be daddy's little star!" and then he takes you on Dr. Doolittle's wild ride to commune with giant transparent animals. The animals read off some fortune cookies and he gives you a magic cloak, going on about how he believed in you the whole time and he's not anything like his dad at all you're a jerk for suggesting it gosh.
Mists ToT/SoO (oh yeah plot development) - You find out that Pandaria is really Titan Party-Down-South edition and he eats some body parts that are probably way expired which triggers an old voicemail about rebuilding a titan, but it's like a thousand years old and they didn't leave a callback number so it's probably not important let's just delete it. Fast forward to Garrosh going all megalomaniac, he's all "who's my little Judge Dredd? Go make daddy proud!" and you bust some heads and arrest the crazy warchief. Wrathion gets all pissed off because he thought he raised us better than this, and only taking a mortal's life which isn't anything like that mean old Deathwing would've done, was the only way to prove our strength to him and show we were worthy of Law School and/or fighting off the Burning Legion.
Warlords - Wrathion's pal Kaizersoze von Time Dragon breaks Garrosh out and gets in their time getaway car and goes back in time. Kaiserroll convinces Garrosh to build up an army that can fight the Legion conquer a ton of worlds (for, uh, profit?) and Wrathion... is.... uh... hanging out at a random Alliance guy's garrison... Wait, what the hell, guys.
Why does Wrathion give a crap about the Legion, how does he even know about them being right around the corner anyways? Why does he want us to kill to prove our strength if he's so determined to not be like Deathwing? Why did we get so much hinting at Kairoz and him being pals and then just dropping that plot like a bad habit the minute we step into the expansion? Has he shown up at all in Legion so far to be like "I waaarned youuuu, hee hee hee!" before menacingly fluttering off in his tubby little dragon vampire bat form?
There it is this week's Reader Post. Hopefully everyone got something out of it in some way or another. Also thank you to everyone who sent something in as always this couldn't be possible without all of your contributions.
Now feel free to enjoy your weekend!

A Thank You
After yesterday's post I received a lot of feedback about other gamers favourite moments with Blizzard games over the years. Some of them dealt with specific moments in games or accomplishments, some of them had to do with cinematics they saw and were forever marveled by, and some had to do with those people they met while playing these games. That last one made me think.
Is there another companies games whose communities tend to bring people together as much as others do? I am not talking just about eSports or muliplayer games. I am talking about people connecting with one another. Blizzard games just have this way of bring people together in ways I don't think the developers ever have imagined.
There are times I remember standing outside waiting for midnight launches for games and just going on and on about experiences with people I have never met. You can talk about competition, about story, and about achievements. They are the type of games you can get lost in conversations in.
I don't think people really realized how much gaming can bring people together until World of Warcraft became a thing. Sure there have been many other MMOs, but none have them have had the player base or the scope of WoW. You hear stories everyday how people have met their husband or wives, their best friends and so on and so forth playing a game.
While other communities tend to be at each others throats and full of toxicity Blizzard games almost seem immune to that. Now sure there is people there, but when you sit back and look at it they are the very small minority.
So I realized I really don't have to thank Blizzard for all of the fun they have given me over the years I have been playing their games. But I should also thank them for all the people they have introduced me to because I played their games.
So Thank You Blizzard, and thank you to everyone, of those people, who has put up with me.

The Hunt Begins
Here we are in the middle of the week and time for a list. When thinking about this list I started to look to one of my favourite gaming companies Blizzard Entertainment. Now they have provided me with plenty of entertainment over the years and just recently celebrated there 25th anniversary. Pretty intense stuff. So I though today was the day I would give my favourite Blizzard moments from the past 25 years of playing their games.
5. Arcturus Mengsk Inauguration Speech
At the end of the Terran Campaign in Starcraft 1 we heard this speech. It is still one of my favourite from any game anywhere even if I knew Arcturus Mengsk was a bad guy. The speech itself fit with everything and I still listen to it over and over again.
4. Arthas Succeeds His Father
Picking a Warcraft moment was hard, but I think this would have to be it. There has been many great cinematics, but this was all about the change of one of the greatest Lore characters any game has ever witnessed. Even today this moment gives me chills.
3. Zeratul's Death
This moment jumps up the list because it makes me remember all those times I played every single Starcraft game. Zeratul to me has been the definition of Starcraft and always the character I would explain when trying to get people into the game and its story.
2. Error 37
So Diablo III was one of the most anticipated games ever to be released. It also was planned to be released everywhere in the world at the exact same time. It didn't go as planned. The servers were not ready for the world. Now as much as this was slightly disappointing it was also a night I will never forget.
1. November 23 2004
This was the day I stepped into Azeroth for the first time. Gauss was created and started his journeys throughout Mulgore. It was really surreal being in the world that I had spent so many times in with the previous Warcraft games. Really was something special.
There you have it this week's list. What are your favourite moments from Blizzard games in the last 25 years? As always let me know in one way or another.

You Fail At XCOM 2 If...
Fail Day! Yes it is that time of the week already. It is not like anyone dislikes this day they just accept it for what it is. I am sure some of you over the past few days have been enjoying XCOM 2 so why not talk about why yo may be failing at it.
You Fail At XCOM 2 If...
- You are wondering why this isn't out for consoles
- You like the "Enemy Within" better
- You are already extensively moding it
- You don't appreciate the effort put into the graphical upgrades
- You are not taking advantage the endless customization
- You don't think swords are cool
- You enjoy "mental distress"
- You like how how game is repetitive while basically calling you a pathetic loser
- You believe the balance is fine
- You are not very strategic
- You don't like how this iteration of the game is much more tactical
- You don't have an internal kill priority list
and finally
- You were in charge of making sure the game was shipped without bugs
There you have it this week's edition of fail. Hope you all enjoyed it regardless if it was you being targeted or not.
Happy Alien Hunting!

Assassin's Creed Showdown
Monday! Yes here we are on Monday the day dreaded by everyone. So why no some comic relief with a little pointless violence to start your week out? Well that is what RackaRacka has for us this week with their Assassin's Creed Showdown. So have a watch and enjoy!
So who really wins this fight?
So who really wins this fight?

Ask Gauss
Sunday! Yes here we are the end of the weekend. I am assuming a lot of people are getting ready to watch the superbowl even if they never normally watch football. It really is just one of those things isn't it? Before we start doing things that we don't normally do though, why not do something we always do like answer some questions. So here we go.
Do you like turn based RPGs?
I don't mind them. I always have enjoyed any game I have played, which was turn based. I do know that it is an outdated mechanic. Now with all the technology we have there really is the opportunity to incorporate other things instead of just waiting for your turn. There can be so many more things involved, which many turn based games have been trending towards in recent years. Many people who played the older games should realize this trend has been happening for years.
I am liking the way D3 has been going with seasons and such, but do you think we will ever see another expansion?
Honestly? I think by next Blizzcon we will have some sort of announcement for the next expansion. I think they want to avoid the long beta they had with D3 and focus on more of a condensed beta like they have been with there last few releases. I am as well very excited for what the next expansion may bring as Reaper of Souls really stepped up the bar for the game all around.
Do you have a Superbowl pick?
Ya. Manning should retire.
There you have it. This week's questions all answered. Hope you all got something out of it in one way or another. Enjoy what is left of your weekend!

A Format Rant
So it is Friday, and it is time for the Reader Post. This week I decided to go with someone who was a little upset. Final is really up in arms about the new mechanics Hearthstone is going for. Now I don't completely agree with everything he says, but does make a few good points. If you haven't heard about the new systems you can read about them here. After have a read about what he has to say.
New players are going to find it even more impossible to play when this new format system kicks in.
They won't be able to buy packs to get cards to play in the wild format. WHY Blizzard thought this was a good idea I'll never know. By itself this reason alone kills Hearthstone for new players. So unless they dump a bunch of cash into the allowed "Standard" packs they have no chance to play either format. It was bad enough new players had a huge paywall to get over just to have a chance of playing ladder but instead of a paywall it's now an impenetrable wall that says "You can't even buy packs, you just suffer".
This game might as well have a disclosure to anyone that hasn't been playing since open beta that states "Either play arena or give us lots of money to play Standard. You're never going to stand a chance in Wild".
Since Blizzard is basically copying MTG in this lets go over the differences between MTG no longer producing cards for older sets and Blizzard not allowing anyone to buy packs from older sets.
Hearthstone is purely digital with no way to trade cards. With MTG players can buy cards from each other or trade them. Hearthstone has no such mechanic that allows players to do this. This was done to make it simpler for Blizzard not having to manage another auction house which is fine as long as they keep their cards available to earn/buy. Taking away the ability to earn/buy cards when there's no way to trade or buy from other players is mind blowing to me. Especially since these cards will still be used in one of the two main formats for the game. WHAT?!
"So what they do then? How can they do this in a better way?"
There's a number of solutions that are INFINITELY better than what Blizzard has currently announced. I'll name a few that I can think of on my own.
1. Discount older cards no longer purchasable (non-standard) so that they only cost their disenchant value for crafting. Either raise the disenchant value or lower the crafting cost of these cards to match each other. This alleviates SOME of the pressure to try and get the newer cards for standard.
2. Have arena give older cards as rewards along with packs. Arena rewards are pathetic right now. NO ONE can keep up with any format just by playing arena. You might say "Well that's the way it's suppose to be, they have to make money!" Blizzard makes A TON of money off this game (more than it rightfully should), bridging the gap between the players that buy their packs versus those that earn them isn't going to change that. In fact it would probably INCREASE how much they make with this game because then new players would join in as they have a means to actually get cards. Arena needs to start giving out more than 1 packs (I suggest one of each current standard pack) in order for players to have a chance to keep up with formats.
It's obvious why Blizzard doesn't do these things. They're greedy and people keep giving them money despite the BS they pull. You think they didn't think of these things along with countless other ways to solve these problems? Of course they did! They just didn't result in as much immediate revenue for them.
O well someday it'll happen. People will start waking up and realize they don't need to put up with this crap that Blizzard pulls. They can decide NOT to give Blizzard money and just do something else. Not like there isn't plenty of other games that we can play.
So I can see he was upset. What do you guys think of the new Hearthstone system? Or want the weekend to think about it?

Turn Based Is Not A Must
So here I am going off on another Thursday. It is almost like Thursday should just become my ranting day. Yesterday Square Enix released a video showing off the battle system for Final Fantasy XV. The only thing I could think about while watching the video besides all the great visuals and how smooth the combat looked was what people would be saying in the comments. "This isn't Final Fantasy". That is exactly what I found.
Sure there were other comments praising them for moving past the styles of old, but most of it was about how they have ruined the series they love by making it not turned based. These are the same people who are "real" fans who totally think XIII was a waste of time by only play the first half of the first game of the trilogy.
If you look over the years the "turned based mechanic" has evolved. In Final Fantasy VII we saw the first time that if you took too long to make a decision your opponent could react. Turn based mechanics make it so you can have more time and an easier time throughout encounters. They make the game longer and drawn out, and give you the ability for the most part to out level and overpower your opponents and avoid strategies which were meant to be used.
I understand people afraid of change, but Final Fantasy is not about turn based battles systems. It is about the story and the characters something, which people tend to forget. It doesn't matter if the story starts out on a linear path if it is about developing story. People hate on XIII for this very reason, but never mention anything about IX doing the same thing at the beginning.
I get that people have their favourites, but discounting a game that looks amazing and fluid because a series has evolved to this level is stupid. Turn based mechanics existed in the first place because the technology wasn't in place to do what you could now. People have complained for years that some of the great story elements from previous games were cutscences. Those type of scenes are now in the players hands because they have added new gameplay elements. Am I the only person who realizes this?
So if it is not your idea what you want for a game so be it, but don't go off about how this isn't a Final Fantasy game because it doesn't have a system that is old and outdated. A real fan of the series knows that things change from game to game. This is one of those things if you don't want to give it a try it doesn't mean it isn't a real Final Fantasy game it means you aren't a real Final Fantasy fan.

Maybe We Don't Exist
Well here we are on yet another Wednesday looking to stand out more so than all others. Now when I was thinking about this week's list I was thinking about the exact same thing. You know those characters who you thought are/were so interesting they deserve their own game. Well here they are my top 5 video game characters who I think deserve their own game.
5. Vaas Montenegro - Far Cry 3
So yes he died in Far Cry 3, but wouldn't it be interesting to have a prequel type game that was dedicated to his story. Where we could learn the definition of insanity?
4. Scorpion - Mortal Kombat Series
So of any fighting game he has the most interesting story so why wouldn't you want to see more of it. Just feel like delving into his past more would be something, which would be quite interesting.
3. Haytham Kenway - Assassin's Creed Series
So we got a little taste of him in Assassin's Creed III. Every Assassin's Creed fan though want's to see him as the main in his own game. I doubt we will ever see it, but it is something we can keep wishing for.
2. Victor Sullivan - Uncharted Series
So we know Uncharted 4 will be the last we will see of the Nathan Drake character. Doesn't mean the series itself is done though. I have always loved Sully and I think a game with him as the main and a younger version would show us that much more.
1. Vivi Ornitier - Final Fantasy IX
Now I realize some could argue he is dead or that Final Fantasy IX's story was already a lot about him. This iconic Black Mage though deserves something all his own. It could be the events following the end of Final Fantasy IX to something completely different. Whatever it is I know it would be well received
So there they are the characters in video games who I believe deserve their own time in the lime light as the main character in their respective games. What do you all think? Who should I have included? As always let me know.

You Fail At Saying I Know Nothing About Gaming If...
Fail Day! Yes it is that day of the week again. It is also Groundhog day so I may have woken up on the wrong side of the bed or something. When I was preparing for this week's Fail Day post I had a few topics, but I got side tracked. It appears someone takes the time every week to read each of my blogs and complain that I know nothing. Now I was thinking about featuring him in a Reader Post, but decided to make Fail Day all about Xendor. So here goes
You Fail At Saying I Know Nothing About Gaming If...
- You spend most of your time on an XBOX
- You think Call of Duty is the greatest game ever
- You play one game, and anyone who doesn't play it is a noob
- You take offence when I don't include your favourite game in my lists
- You have never played any of the other games I mention in my lists
- When you don't get the response you like in an email you resend the same email multiple times saying I didn't get the point
- You think real gamers only play consoles
- Your mother bought the last game you played
- You believe real gamers only care about multiplayer
- You don't play RPGs because they take away time from your Call of Duty
- You have never played a game that wasn't for XBOX
- When you wear a headset you believe it gives you super powers
- Your solution to everything is to challenge someone to Zombie mode
And Finally
- You make me want to spend time with Bagellord
There you have it this week's edition of fail. Hope you all enjoyed it. Maybe now will have time Xendor will have time for something else.

I Wanna Beat The Bouse
Some I am a LagTV Fan I am also a Maximusblack fan. Why you ask? Well I like to be entertained. Now one fan of Mr. Black's developed a game in his honor. It has tons of LagTV and Maximusblack references. So fans of them will find it extremely entertaining. For those of you who aren't fans well you should be because they are hilarious and amazing. So with that in mind here is this playthrough of the game done in his honor, which as of right now he has not completed. So you are welcome and enjoy.
You will thank me later!
