So last week during my list I went and created a list based on who I thought were the best number 2s or Henchmen to their Big Baddie. So this got me thinking how can someone actually Fail at being a Henchmen? Well there are tons of examples all through gaming so let's get right to it.
You Fail At Being A Good Henchmen If...
- You have to be resurrected multiple times
- You explain your bosses plan to the hero
- All you ever wanted to be was a Knight
- You are sympathetic towards the Hero
- You have no idea what you are fighting for/against
- You flee when challenged
- You are easily flipped
- You are the comic relief
- You are known as "that guy" years after people have played the game
- Your name is either Biggs or Wedge
- You kill people with butterflies
- Everyone likes your twin better than you
- You become a loot pinata
And Finally
- You keep betraying your boss in order to be the Big Baddie
