So I haven't had a chance but I want to say good on Blizzard for creating this pet for the purpose of raising money for Japan. What I want to point out is that Blizzard was already matching their employees donations in kind and on top of that they are doing this. This speaks volumes for a company that gets a lot of flack for being all about themselves and only caring about money. Just think about when the Rudolph mount was released people were all over Blizzard to put the money earned to the Japan relief effort. I am proud they didn't cave in to the people who were all over them. Blizzard has always been great for charity and this and the moonkin hatchling are great examples of it.

So thanks Blizzard for showing the compassion that you have and sticking to your guns at the same time.

  1. I will be getting it for this reason.

  2. I got mine. Really, $10 US dollars isn't much to spend when you know the proceeds are going to be large and will go where needed.

I'd like to see them do something for the American Red Cross' tornado efforts in the midwest and south US. I'm not sure what it would be that wouldn't be really tacky, but I hope they come up with something.
